Existence - Reality - Truth

"I think therefore I am..."  Rene Descartes

"The body cannot live without the mind..."   Morpheus, The Matrix

Therein lies our problem...  the mind...  the reality that the mind thinks it sees, may not be the reality that is.  And, how then do we disprove that concept or for that matter, prove it?  We cannot.

However, death may finally bring us to the authentic reality that we have never seen before.

On the other side of the coin, this reality in which we live, could be the authentic reality after all; but, if it is our authentic reality, it seems pointless because we only live 80-100 years.  The authentic reality (in the present state) lives forever.

I say this because there is no evidence to suggest that the our past lives very long at all, nor is there any evidence indicating that our future is being created before we get there.  That is to say, it our future instantaneous or is it being lived out 12 hours ahead, 24 hours ahead, or a lifetime ahead?  That last thought will boggle your mind.

There is a seamless transition between the present and the future.  It happens so quick that we have no way of realizing the transition has taken place from one nanosecond to the next.

That is to say, assuming this is the AUTHENTIC REALITY in which we are living...  not a reality of The Matrix.  And, according to Descartes, the fact that you think at all, means that you exist.

The fact that we exist means that we have a creator...  or a creator of sorts.  That is to say, what if, we were created by an ALIEN RACE?  That Alien Race would then be our GOD.  So, the fact that there is a God, in TRUE!!!  It is just not the God that we were expecting...  or, lead to believe that we should be expecting.

Now that would be a very interesting TRUTH...
