Of course, respect is a two-way street and if one does not get respect then one does not give respect.
So, how long can a marriage last like that?
This one has lasted since 1993 or 27 years which to me seems rather unusual.
There is a sense of responsibility that keeps two people together rather than love and sometimes that responsibility, over time, leaves the two partners on opposite sides of the fence with very little in common.
