No State Taxes Here

If you have an annual income of $100,000 then STATE TAXES are typically  5% to 8% of that income...

That means that you are going to pay the State...   $5,000 to $8,000...  not to mention city, county, property, and sales taxes...  none of which are as large as one's State's Taxes...

HOWEVER, in the State of TENNESSEE, we have no State Income Taxes on that annual salary of $100,000.

The list below shows those States that do not have a Sate income tax and the % savings:

  1. Alaska (5.10%)
  2. Florida (6.56%)
  3. Nevada (8.26%)
  4. New Hampshire (6.86%)
  5. South Dakota (7.28%)
  6. Tennessee (6.28%)
  7. Texas (8.18%)
  8. Washington (8.20%)
  9. Wyoming (7.15%)
