A thought-provoking passage written by an Englishman about the current situation in HIS homeland - this is thought provoking and is equally relevant in any other (once) white country.

I have been wondering about why whites are racists, and no other race is? There are British Africans, British Chinese, British Asian, British Turks, etc, etc, etc. And then there are just British. You know what I mean, plain ole English people that were born here. You can include the Welsh, the Scottish and the people who live off our shores of Great Britain.

You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you. So why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live? You have the Muslim Council of Great Britain. You have Black History Month. You have swimming pools for Asian women. You have Islamic banks for Muslims only. You have year of the dragon day for Chinese people. If we had a White Pride Day, you would call us racists. If we had White History Month, we'd be racists. If we had any organization for only whites to 'advance' OUR lives, we'd be racists.

A white woman could not be in the Miss Black Britain or Miss Asia, but any colour can be in the Miss UK. If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships, you know we'd be racists. There are over 200 openly proclaimed Muslim only schools in England. Yet if there were 'White schools only', that would be racist! In the Bradford riots and Toxteth riots, you believed that you were standing-up for your race and rights. If we stood-up for our race and rights, you would call us racists. You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.

We fly our flag, we are racists. If we celebrate St George's day we are racists You can fly your flag and it’s called diversity. You celebrate your cultures and it’s called multiculturalism. You rob us, carjack us, and rape our daughters. But, when a white police officer arrests a black gang member or beats up an Asian drug dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist. I am proud... but you call me a racist. Why is it that only whites can be racists?? There is nothing improper about this e-mail. Let's see which of you are proud enough to send it on.

I sadly don't think many will. That's why we have LOST most of OUR RIGHTS in this country. We won't stand up for ourselves!

A professor at Boston University said that Republicans are "the party of white supremacy."

In an op-ed for The Atlantic, Ibram X. Kendi, Boston University Andrew W. Mellon professor in the Humanities and Director of the Center for Antiracist Research said that Republicans are not the party of "any group of parents," but rather "the party of white supremacy."

Kendi wrote in the op-ed that Republican opposition to critical race theory means it is "clearly" not the party of parents.

"The Republican Party is clearly not the party of parents. The Republican Party is certainly not the party of parents of color. But is the Republican Party even the party of white parents?" Kendi wrote.

He stated that Republican "branding" of being the "party of parents" is a "myth" that's equivalent to "the great lie that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from Donald Trump," adding that it has been built on "false conceptual building blocks.

Kendi says that the "false conceptual building blocks" are "Republican politicians care about white children," "Anti-racist education is harmful to white children," "Republican politicians are protecting white children by banning anti-racist education," and "Republican politicians are protecting white children by banning anti-racist education."

He goes on to say that if Republican politicians care about White children, "they would not be ignoring or downplaying or defending or bolstering the principal racial threat facing white youth today."

Severe Racism at Tesla

California’s civil rights regulator said it’s suing Tesla Inc. for racial discrimination after finding widespread harassment of Black workers at the electric carmaker's factory near San Francisco.

The state’s Department of Fair Employment and Housing received complaints from hundreds of workers and “found evidence that Tesla’s Fremont factory is a racially segregated workplace where Black workers are subjected to racial slurs and discriminated against in job assignments, discipline, pay and promotion creating a hostile work environment,” Kevin Kish, the agency’s director, said in a statement late Wednesday.

The complaint in Alameda County Superior Court wasn’t immediately available on the court’s website.  Tesla said in a Feb. 8 blog post — before the suit was filed — that the company “will be asking the court to pause the case and take other steps to ensure that facts and evidence will be heard.”

The DFEH said one Black worker told of hearing racial slurs as often as 50 to 100 times a day. Some who complained about the offensive language said supervisors and managers were active participants in the abuse or witnesses to it. On a daily basis, Black workers saw racist graffiti on restroom walls, lockers, benches, work stations, lunch tables and the break room, according to the agency’s emailed statement, which provided a detailed summary of its findings.Am
The agency is the state-level equivalent of the better-known U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, with a mission to protect Californians from unlawful discrimination in employment, housing and accommodations. The DFEH informed Tesla on Jan. 3 that it had grounds to file a complaint. Tesla warned investors of the agency’s investigation in the annual report it filed to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission this week.

The automaker’s shares fell 2% at 9:32 a.m. Thursday in New York.

Whoopi Goldberg's Comments About The Holocaust

Whoopi Goldberg is facing a backlash after she said on a US talk show that the Holocaust "was not about race".

The actress and television personality said on ABC's The View that the Nazi genocide of the Jews involved "two groups of white people".

Critics pointed out that Hitler himself had vented his hatred of the Jews in racial terms. She later apologised.

The Nazis, who believed themselves an Aryan "master race", murdered six million Jews in the Holocaust.

Monday's discussion was sparked by a Tennessee school board's ban of a graphic novel about Nazi death camps during World War Two.

Maus, which depicts Jews as mice and Nazis as cats, has won a number of literary awards.

The school board said it banned the book because its profanity, nudity and depiction of suicide was inappropriate for 13-year-olds.

Goldberg, a 66-year-old Oscar-winning actress who has been on The View since 2007, told her co-hosts: "I'm surprised that's what made you uncomfortable, the fact that there was some nudity.

Another Weekend in East TN

My neighbor was taken to the hospital in Knoxville last week by ambulence because she had a heart attack but was aware enough to call 911 herself.  Her heart issues were on the right side and even though she had 19 stents, she still suffered a powerful enough attack, to cause her to undergo a quardruple bypass operation.  She was released this morning and I talked with her son after helping her inside her home.

One of the issues that we talked about was the fact that east tn, at least where we were living was, for the most part, isolated away from all the garbage that was happening in the big cities.

While we were experiencing higher prices, our increase in prices were not as high as those increases up north.  We were not seeing an increase in illegal immigrants being flown to our location, nor did we have the crime and violence that we had been reading about or watching on the news.  No one in our area was ambushing police in an effort to try and wound or kill them.

• No one in our area wanted to defund the police.
• No one in our area wanted to teach critical race theory.
• No one in our area was concerned about black lives matter.
• No one in our area want to remove monuments or rename buildings.
• No one in our area wanted to wear or mandate facemasks except hospitals and healthcare facilities.
• No one in our area wanted to ban conservative thoughts, comments, or actions.
• No one in our area supported abortion
• No one in our area wanted to do away with the 2nd Amendment.

BTW...  did I mention that my neighbor is BLACK???

AND...  did I mention that on the other side of my neighbor's house lives a mexican immigrant that neither of us knew whether he and his family were legal or not and neither of us really gave a shit either way.

Oh yes...  I am white...  and, interestingly enough, I have been white all my life...  and, the only living beings that were ever opposed by me because of my white supremacy attitude ghaniswere my CATS...  because I refused to let them go outsde...  inside cats actually live longer on average than outside cats.

Neither of us voted for TRUMP but both of us feel that our current President...  What's His Name...  is doing a horrible job and we are both tired of him lying to the public about what he supposedly believes...  we are also tired of the mainstream media covering his ass all the time pretending like he is doing a great job.

Neither my black neighbor nor I care about which political party controls the politics of the county because we have the same problems today that we had back in the 1960's which means both Democrats and Republicans are responsible for maintaining the status quo.

My black neighbor like to fish in one of our two man made Public Works lakes...  but, I do not...  So...  I suppose that we are different in that regard...  but, we don't fight about it nor do we get upset because we like to do different things...

I also have no idea if he sees me as white or just as his neighbor....  it never much mattered to me...

Critical Race Theory

Core Components:

1. The centrality and intersectionality of racism. Racism exists everywhere in American life –from within our own thoughts, to our personal relationships, to our places of work, to our educational and judicial systems. CRT says that racism isn’t just the actions of individuals but that it’s embedded in our institutions, systems, and culture. It is our way of life.
2. The challenge to dominant ideology. In law and other arenas there is a belief that concepts like neutrality, objectivity, colorblindness, and meritocracy can be fully actualized. CRT says, “not so fast, how can one be truly neutral on issues of race when racism is baked into the fabric of America?”.
CRT pointed out that claims of objectivity and color blindeness can be ways in which dominant groups camouflage their interests in order to get what’s best for them
3. The commitment to social justice. CRT as a framework acknowledges how all oppression interrelates and focuses on eradicating racism and other forms of oppression by centering People of Color and taking a stance on issues of social justice. People of Color have been fighting before this country was formed for justice and this has never stopped in some form or fashion.
4. The importance of experiential knowledge. CRT says that the lived experiences of People of Color however expressed (storytelling, family history, biographies, scenarios, parables, cuentos, chronicles, narratives) are crucial to understanding racism and oppression, that they are necessary in our quest for liberation. From the academic, to legal, to activist arenas lived experience must be taken seriously.
5. The use of an interdisciplinary perspective. CRT draws from many different fields in order to create a powerful and nuanced framework for engaging with race and racism. There is no one answer, no one discipline, no one path to freedom. CRT says let’s use all the tools in the toolbox to help educate folks so we can get free.

JUNETEENTH

 ALL SLAVES IN AMERICA WERE GIVEN THEIR FREEDOM...

Since I was born Caucasian and have no desire to feel guilty because of being born white, I see no reason why I should even celebrate this holiday because it really does not pertain to me like July 4 pertains...  and, all I do for the 4th of July is cook a hamburger and put up the American Flag outside on the front porch.

I am no politician and I am glad that I never had that desire, but I fear that Juneteenth is going to send the wrong message here in the US and that after whites are forced to take a day off by either the government or their employers, that they will do absolutely nothing to celebrate black freedom...  

Why are we not authorizing a Federal Holiday for all the Native Americans to whom we gave their freedom as well by putting them on RESERVATIONS...  

To be honest, I have more empathy for Native Americans than I have for Black Americans...  because UNLIKE BLACKS they were here first and WHITES took their land and their freedoms away from them...

To me, our Federal Government is making a mistake and will begin to cause more division than ever before by recognizing the different between whites and blacks.

Racial Intermingling

 

When I was in high school in Cairo, Egypt, Americans and Foreigners regardless of color and ethnicity would spend time together...  that is to say we would date, attend parties and other gathering together, and vacation with each other without the slightest bit of concern.

When I was in college in North Carolina, there were very few minorities attending that college other than females and a handful of foreign students and that difference did not prevent us from socializing outside of attending our classes.

When I was in the military, our ship, the USS Recovery, was a salvage and rescue vessel with a crew of 86 which included officers.  Since officers and enlisted personnel did not fraternize with each other, there were virtually no minorities on our vessel with which to intermingle.

When I was working and during my career of 45 years, I very seldom socialized or intermingled with co-workers unless it was at a company sponsored event; therefore, there was never an opportunity for me to socialize or intermingle with any minorities other than females.

Now that I am retired, I live in a small community, and while there is no community restraints from allowing blacks or foreigners into our community, no blacks or foreigners have ever elected to live here except an new friend of mine called Daniel and his wife, who is Mexican and his wife an American Caucasian.  We talk when we find ourselves outside mowing our lawns at the same time.

During my monthly chemo visits to the hospital, every once in a while, I am attended by a black nurse who treats me the exact same way that she treats all her other patients and I respond in kind.  My Oncologist is Egyptian and I trust him implicitly with my health and have never once questioned his judgement as to how I should be treated.

SYSTEMATIC RACISM DOES NOT REACH OUT TO ME NOR DO I REACH OUJ TO IT...  and, it bothers me when I hear the mainstream media claim how prevalent racism is in the USA...  because I do not see it and I have have never seen it...  although I have heard people talk about it and make racist comments.

 BLACKS DON'T WANT JUSTICE THEY WANT REVENGE...  AGAINST WHITES...

So...  this is now what America looks like...  to other Americans and to our global community...  

America is NO LONGER a respected Global Power...

Celebrities and Professional Athletes try to STIR THE POT of RACISM in the hopes that the WHITES will finally just GIVE UP and allow BLACKS to have whatever they want...

If this ever happens, then there will be RACE WARS in America especially since Blacks are only 13% of the overall population...

A majority of Americans, mostly whites, simply and politely try to be diplomatic as the racial events unfold in this country in the hopes that it will eventually be self-regulating...  however, if that does not happen, WHITES will begin to PUSH BACK as their toleration lessens...  and, when this push back takes place, the BLACK COMMUNITY better be prepared to RETALIATE or BACK OFF with their demands...  otherwise, violence and hate will flourish on both sides...  and, this divide will continue for many years.

Meanwhile, our global enemies will take advantage of this division...

On Opposite Sides We Stand... or sit...

For as many years as I can remember, citizens of the United States have divided on just about every issue that one can imagine...  from race to education to wealth to religion to sports teams concerning which team should win and why...  oftentimes relying on personal opinions rather than on actual facts.  It did not matter if who was right as long as both sides had an equal opportunity to express their opinions...  and, it got to the point where the following was stated:  "opinions are like assholes...  everybody's got one."

TODAY... that is not being allowed to play out unfortunately as our CANCEL CULTURE friends and neighbors only want their opinions to be heard and believed as actual fact...  If you disagree we (the CC) will destroy you and quite possibly your family members as well like a HIT SQUAD for the Mafia.

Needless to say...  this closed minded opinion PISSES ME OFF and should PISS OFF most Americans who take pride in and honor our FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS...

HOWEVER...  if you want to rewrite our US Constitution and eliminate our FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS then since we live in a Democracy you are free and welcome to do so...  although, I strongly believe that you are going to encounter some resistance from many Americans.

RACISM is one of those issues that DIVIDES AMERICANS...  right now, Racism mainly pertains to the ethnic struggles between  whites and blacks as a result of SLAVERY and the fact that most of people who settled and founded the United States of America owned slaves...  and, many blacks today believe that our country is still controlled by whites who have found a new and different way to enslave blacks....

This enslavement happens in the following areas:

• black communities in the cities
• black educational opportunities
• black work opportunities
• black wealth opportunities
• black political opportunities

What I personally find amusing is the fact that there are many blacks who have been successful and become wealthy in spite of all the whites that are supposedly working against them...  even though they had to work harder than whites in order to get where they got...

The government cannot really change people's opinions and beliefs but what they can do is force people to do what they do not want to do...  that is to say...

• hire blacks whether they want to or not
• educate blacks whether they want to or not
• promote blacks whether they want to or not

But, that practice will not stop the question of:  HOW'D YOU GET YOUR JOB?

But, there is also racism between the:

• light blacks and dark blacks
• African blacks and European blacks
• American blacks and Jamaican blacks
• blacks/whites and Mexicans
• blacks/whites and Hispanics
• blacks/whites and Asians

And...  this racism had nothing to do with slavery and everything to do with immigration and their ability to want to work and not receive handouts and welfare from the Federal Government.

UNFORTUNATELY, no government will be able to stop or suppress differences of opinions...

NOR WILL THEY BE ABLE TO STOP

Nominated for Nobel Peace Prize

 BLACK LIVES MATTER MOVEMENT HAS BEEN NOMINATED FOR A NOBEL PEACE PRIZE...

As a US Veteran, I am appalled by this action, even though this nominated came outside of the USA...  it was still made...  and, I am sure that it was made in good faith...  but, without living in the USA where the BLM movement originated, then one does not fully understand or appreciate the actually violence that BLM has generated while offering the world awareness about racism.  BUT...  BLM is causing more racism that it eliminates, simply because it is trying to bring racism to the forefront of American Life.

The fact remains that OUR FEDERAL GOVERNMENT CANNOT FORCE Americans to stop HATING each other...  it can force employers to hire so many blacks and it can force public schools to accept so many blacks...  and, it can force teachers to teach WHITENESS classes in the hopes that white will stop acting like they have privilege in this country...

BUT...  that is where we are headed...   If I HATE BLACKS...  how to change my attitude and/or my behavior?

American has been divided for a long time...  it's just recently that situations in this country have made the division worse...

We have always been divided on WEALTH but it is getting worse

We have always been divided on RACE but it is getting worse

We have always been divided on POLITICS but it is getting worse

We have always been divided on LAW ENFORCEMENT but it is getting worse

We have always been divided on GENDER and it remains about the same

Black Lives Matter have brought to our attention how law enforcement and a lot of white folks are racially biased...  and, as a way of appeasing the movement, several Confederate Statues have been removed from public property... and now BLACKS will no longer be reminded each day of slavery...  but, that WILL NOT STOP RACISM on either side of the equation...

Blacks HATE Whites as much as Whites HATE Blacks...  otherwise, this racial issue would have resolved itself.

Just like in a marriage both sides have to agree to change...  if you just ask one side to change their attitudes and behavior without the other side doing the same...  DIVORCE is inevitable and actually should be required or mandated...  since two parties are involved...

The same holds true for BLACKS...  who don't change but expect WHITES to change first so they can make sure the change is real and not just pretend.  It is that suspicion that will always be a deal breaker.

Four hundred years later, America’s congenital demon still bedevils it. A nation built for white people, though reliant upon Black sweat, remains unable to exorcise the paradoxical evil inherent in its birth. Time after time, this country reproduces its sins rather than atone for them. Yet, with protesters capturing the streets amid a global pandemic and coercing public opinion to swing in their favor, one hopes the day of reckoning has finally come.

The video-captured killing of George Floyd by Minneapolis police officers jolted not just America, but the world. Black Lives Matter, a movement conceived in the blood of unarmed Black men, convinced the masses of its central thesis — America devalues Black life. Change of some sort appears imminent.

But to really complete the unfinished business of Reconstruction and the civil rights movement, white people must fight it out with each other over what being a respectable white person means. The victors need to allow only the anti-racist to be considered worthy of inclusion in the group. White folk must create an environment that compels other white folk to learn lest they incur the social wrath that accompanies not behaving like a respectable white person.

Many white folk continue to pose the question: “What can I do?” 

The answer is simple. Study what your forefathers did. Then do the opposite.

MY RESPONSE...

While I am sure that the above author is serious and at the risk of my comment being considered sarcastic, if I did the opposite of what my forefathers did, then I would have:

1.  Not written the Declaration of Independence

2.  Not written the US Constitution or the Bill of Rights

3.  Not freed the slaves

4.  Not fought the Civil War

5.  Not kept the Southern States from wanting to leave the Union 

Now, I am sure that the above author would say that my response should have been not had slaves at all...  but, it was not my forefathers that brought slaves to these shores because my forefathers were not my forefathers until they won the war of Independence from Great Britain...  Before that they were just a bunch of immigrants looking for a new place to live.

Thomas Jefferson was, not only a President, but he was extremely intelligent and created all sorts of inventions that benefitted the human race...  should I just forget all of that because he owned slaves?  And, what about the University of Virginia and the Serpentine Wall that is so famous...  should I just forget those as well?

Of course, there is Abraham Lincoln who was also our President and freed the slaves, and while he did not believe in owning slaves, he did not stop his wife from owning them...   so, to me, he seems a little hypocritical...

THEREFORE...

I will not nor will I EVER do the opposite of what my forefathers did just because they might have own slaves in my family...  nor will I do the opposite of what our other forefathers did because in spite of SLAVERY they were all brilliant men...  who laid the foundation for the USA to become the greatest country in WORLD HISTORY...  at least so far...

Can White People Stop Being White?

So, what is racism? One helpful definition comes from Matthew Clair and Jeffrey S. Denis’s “Sociology on Racism.” They define racism as “individual- and group-level processes and structures that are implicated in the reproduction of racial inequality.” Systemic racism happens when these structures or processes are carried out by groups with power, such as governments, businesses or schools. Racism differs from bias, which is a conscious or unconscious prejudice against an individual or group based on their identity.

Basically, racial bias is a belief. Racism is what happens when that belief translates into action. For example, a person might unconsciously or consciously believe that people of color are more likely to commit crime or be dangerous. That’s a bias. A person might become anxious if they perceive a black person is angry. That stems from a bias. These biases can become racism through a number of actions ranging in severity, and ranging from individual- to group-level responses...  SOURCE:  Tolerance.org, author Cory Collins

SO...

according to Cory Collins, it is ok for a white person to be biased...  as long as this white person does not put that bias into action like walking to the other side of the street avoid a group of black people because this white person has a bias that black people are dangerous...

BUT...

Cory Collins does not take into consideration the circumstances that caused this white person to exercise his bias...  such as the white person being retired or handicapped and that this same action would have been taken if there was a group of people were white.  It also does not take into consideration, the time of day or if this group of black people are young, old, or middle aged or how they might have been dressed...  it also does not take into consideration if this white person crossing the street is male or female...  nor does it take into consideration their religious beliefs or any previous encounters like this where the outcomes were less than positive...

THEREFORE...

all biased action is not necessarily an indication of racism...  and yet...  the BLACKS think that it is...

HOWEVER,

this still does not explain to me how to get rid of my whiteness or what whiteness is exactly...  I am assuming that whiteness is another word for white privilege.  And, I can assure you that not all white person were born into the ranks of white privilege...  for that guarantee, you need to check out the students who are attending the IVY LEAGUE colleges and universities.

The average white person, male or female, typically works for someone else and is considered labor not management.  And if, this average white person is labor, then the odds are that they were raised no where near the concepts of white privilege.  Even those in management are not always from the ranks of white privilege, even though they have ended up as managers of retail stores, manufacturing plants, restaurants, hotels, motels, and resorts...  I would suspect that they, over the years, worked their way up through the ranks.

ALSO...

and I remember this quite vividly that when my Dad worked for the Federal Government in the Department of Agriculture, he was FORCED to hire a certain PERCENTAGE of BLACKS whether they were qualified or not and the employment security of his position was dependent upon how well these unqualified employees performed...

White privilege or not...  that was not fair to him...  but, the government thought it was fair to the BLACKS...

Is this how the government is going to help us REMOVE OUR WHITENESS....

How do you suppose that our government is going to help the Blacks remove their BLACKNESS and the chip on their shoulders because of slavery that was perpetrated on their ancestors over 200 years ago?

If WHITENESS needs to go so too does BLACKNESS need to go...

I mean we are talking about EQUALITY...  right?

Are Whites The Only Ones That Are Racists?

 I DON'T BELIEVE THAT ANYONE IS ASKING THIS QUESTION BECAUSE THEY ARE ASSUMING THAT ONLY WHITES ARE RACISTS BY DEFINITION...

WHY NOT?

BECAUSE...  the blacks are the ones feeling persecuted and seem to be taking advantage of the publicity surrounding the MURDERS of black people by WHITE OFFICERS...  consequently, the WHITE MAN has got to be to blame...  especially since we permitted slavery to exist in this country for hundreds of years...

...BAD WHITE MAN...

BECAUSE...   the mainstream media is more or less sanctioning the deliberate and premeditating killing of WHITE police officers as a form of RETRIBUTION rather than as a form of REVENGE...   which is exactly what it was...

BUT...  blacks are NEVER considered RACISTS...

The other issue that really strikes me curiously stupid is the fact that EVERYONE is HOLLERING that the WHITE MAN must change...  forget about the black man changing...  the change has got to come from the WHITE MAN...

• Whitey must change his attitude...   HOW?
• Whitey must change his whiteness...   HOW?
• Whitey must change his pre-conceived ideas...   HOW?
• Whitey must change his instincts...   HOW?
• Whitey must feel the pain and suffering of the Blacks...  HOW?
• Whitey must feel the guilt of slavery...   WHY? and HOW?
• Whitely must eliminate all biases against Blacks...   HOW?
• Whitely must accept all aspects of the Black culture...   WHY? 
• Whitey must stop acting white...  HOW? and WHY?

I don't understand how BLACKS feel and I never will no matter how hard I try...  and, this is just like asking people to feel what it is like to have CHEMO SICKNESS when one is not taking any chemo...  or, asking a man to feel what it is like for a female to have a baby, especially when the actually delivery takes several hours.

I was not a part of SLAVERY in America or in any other parts of the WORLD.  And, I don't believe that I should be held accountable for what my ancestors did.  I don't think slavery was morally or ethically valid or correct and I would be opposed to it ever happening again...

BUT...   I am just as much a current slave of the WHITE MAN'S SYSTEM as the Black Man simply because I am not wealthy, nor do I or ever did I hold positions of power and control that were exercised inappropriate because I let the power go to my head...

• I WILL NEVER LIVE IN AN AMERICA WHERE THE BLACK MAN IS CONSIDERED RACIST

The US of A is RACIST or So I've Been Told by Blacks

The African Americans, Blacks, American Blacks, People of Color...  BUT NEVER JUST
AMERICANS, would have you believe that all Caucasians or White Crackers or Honkies are racists because several white policemen were racially biased and motivated.

Using this logic then all BLACKS are like MARTIN LUTHER KING Jr. and his followers which we KNOW FOR ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY is not the case here in America...

So, why do we have this CONTRADICTION in how the blacks perceive each other and the white Americans with whom they have chosen to live, work, die, and defend against foreign aggression?

If all white Americans were like those racist cops then more black people would be DEAD....

If all black people were like MLK Jr., then there would be no violent protesting or white cops DEAD...

• But, neither case is true
• And, neither case has been true
• And, neither case will be true in this country

BECAUSE WE HAVE RACISM ON BOTH SIDES...

Black People and all of those Blacks who want to use their COLOR as an EXCUSE for their FAILURES will ALWAYS CLAIM that the majority race with whom they live are RACIST AS A WHOLE.

Let me make one thing perfectly CLEAR...

• I don't live with Blacks
• I don't live with African Americans
• I don't live with People of Color
• I don't live with Native Americans
• I don't live with Asians
• I don't live with Hispanics or Latinos

I LIVE WITH CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND ALWAYS WILL NO MATTER WHAT I'M BEING TOLD... by Blacks or anyone else for that matter...

Earth to Earth and Other Places

When I was just a boy who was just a little rebellious, I chanced upon other lads who were in similar situations and we set about doing things that in our youth we should not do like borrowing cars to impress the older girls and breaking into homes just to see other places and before we finished having fun, we took a small boat out on the Potomac for a lark.

It was these fun times that landed me in jail but my parents broke me free when my father became a Diplomat and we moved overseas.  Unlike other places we could have gone, my father decided on Cairo, Egypt because it is the least likely place to have more fun.  So, instead of doing what I used to do, I learned quite quickly that Egypt had the best HASH in the land...  and, with a steady stream of alcohol us teenagers now had a new kind of fun that interestingly evolved into sexual fun and without precautions, we had no idea of the risks that we were taking until a pregnancy occurred and then the females imposed a moratorium.

With 3 years of college and 2 years in the military, I returned to the hallowed halls of academia and pursued my parent's dream of my education.  It was much easier then, since I was older, and hardly ever had to study just attend class and learn to listen.  Grad school was just a few years down the road and soon I was armed for bear which is not such a clever metaphor.

I paid little attention to politics but in case anyone asked I was a Democrat...  just because my parents were too I suppose but they were also more liberal than the stuffed-shirts Republicans who referred to themselves as just being conservative.  I was no conservative and had never been and planned not to be one forever, if that was even possible since forever is such a long, long time.

I hated gun rights because I did not like the violence of the Vietnam War that used guns and other weapons instead of talking...  and, while I did not give a rat's ass if a female had an abortion, I strongly agreed that it was her choice and not the government's.  In fact, I was against the government trying to control my life at all and formed an on paper company just to shelter money to lower my taxes.

A funny thing happened to me on my way (not to the Forum) to old age and that was I lost my LIBERAL ATTITUDE along the way and started leaning in the other direction.  My first sense of anything was my personal debt and the debt of our country.  I eliminated my debt but could not understand why my country would not eliminate their debt.  I saw the liberals as a bunch of individuals who just wanted the rich and wealthy via the government to pay for everything instead of earning it themselves...  and if, they had to cheat and manipulate others to get what they wanted they did and did so without hesitation.

All of a sudden like a psychedelic mushroom flashback, I realized it was the WEATHLY, not the middle class or poor, that provided us with employment even though it made them more wealthy to do so.  In my mind and quite logically I decided that to take money away from the wealthy and use it to give services to others was in actuality being counterproductive not to mention counter intuitive.

And, while the ridiculous battles raged on by our two political parties, behind the scenes were battle fought between the haves and the have nots and then as if a giant FART had exploded out of the government's ass, the black people decided they had not been treated fairly for over 400 years and that our Constitution written in 1776 did not apply to them since they were basically still black and that HATRED between the races was being perpetuated by the CAUCASIAN on a regular and daily basis.

MIND YOU, there were plenty of wealthy male and female black business people, wealthy male and female black musicians and singers, wealthy male and female black athletes, and wealthy male and female black actors...  it's just that there was not enough of them the black community thought and wanted our government to do something about that...  even though the black only represent 13% of America's overall population with Hispanics representing 18% of that same overall population...  and, they had no concerns at all.

HOWEVER, there was an under current growing in the political landscape...  a movement that would take our government from being a Democratic Republic to being a Socialist country where the society cared more about the people than about the wealthy.

Just for your information, there has NEVER BEEN a Socialistic country that has lead the world both economically and militarily since GOD created our universe...  but that little tidbit of information does not really matter...

• It does not matter to American Liberals
• It does not matter to America's Enemies
• It does not matter to America's Wealthy because they have sheltered their money
• It does not matter to America's Businesses since they will hire fewer people

So, America is in a State of Transition and she will move from being a Great Country to one of Mediocrity and we will have to ask other country to protect us as we can no longer defend ourselves.  And if... you think that I am kidding...  what do you think DEFUNDING POLICE DEPARTMENTS really means?  I know that the liberals said they were going to REDISTRIBUTE monies which is not really defunding...  but that is semantics.

Redistribute means take from one and give to another.  We do it all the time ourselves when we take money out of the VACATION FUND and redistribute it to our MEDICAL FUND.  

Redistribute means police departments will have less funds which means they will have less manpower and less other resources which means YOU will have less protection than before...

Funds from the military will be redistributed as well to pay for social programs and Medicare for ALL...

And, one thing that I have not talked about that comes with an economic slowdown is INFLATION...  if you have not experience that one yet, it can be devastating and you really have to experience it to believe it...

I am finally glad that I am 73 years of age and constantly getting older.

ONCE AGAIN

 It would appear that ONCE AGAIN September 11, 2001 has come and gone with a memory lapse of what this country went through 19 years ago.  A few random photos were posted on the internet and social media forums and blogs and a few articles were written and published by the mainstream media and some people were interview and Churches in NYC held memorial services, but BLM matter and the memories of the CIVIL WAR seem to be a more important issue here in AMERICA, HOME OF THE FREE.

• China released COVID into the world population and all the Democrats care about is blaming Trump
• China has the largest NAVY in the world today and all the Democrats care about is blaming Trump
• Racism runs unmolested in our cities today and all the Democrats care about is blaming Trump

As a Vietnam Veteran, I find this behavior unacceptable but I have no idea what the rest of America THINKS because America is clouded over by the BLM movement, remembering the CIVIL WAR, and letting us all know that 13% of the population is going to bitch, moan, protest, riot, and loot until they get what they want.

BUT, and this is just my opinion, if the 13% actually get what they want, RACISM will increase in America as the rest of us begin to flex their muscles in the only way that we know how and that is PASSIVE RESISTANCE and RELUCTANT CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE that will manifest itself in our subtle actions towards the 13% in the future.

THIS IS NOT A THREAT BUT COMMON SENSE AFTER SEEING SO MANY UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES IN THE PAST DEVELOP OVER OUR INAPPROPRIATE ACTIONS.

For those of you who understand SYSTEMS THINKING, we are reaction to SPECIAL CAUSE VARIATION when we should be reacting to COMMON CAUSE VARIATION...

Is It Even Possible?

Is it even possible to have a world WITHOUT RACISM?

If you are an idealist, you will obviously say YES, it is possible...

If you are a realist, you will obviously say NO, it is not possible...

So,
who is right?

RACISM is prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against a person or people on the 

basis of their membership of a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or 

marginalized.

Human Beings discriminate all the time towards others who are not like them...  because they are different.

• Wealth and poverty
• Working and unemployed
• Attractive and unattractive
• White and black
• Black and brown
• Black and dark black
• Northern and Southern
• Tall and short
• Fat and thin
• Teacher and student
• Doctor and patient
• Parent and child
• American and all others
• President and citizen
• Politician and citizen
• Immigrant and illegal immigrant
• Law Enforcement and law breaker
• Military and civilian
• Sick and not sick

This is not a game that we play...  this is the reality of the world...  and, this discrimination started from the very beginning between God and Adam & Eve and eventually between God and the serpent...

WE WILL ALWAYS HAVE DIFFERENCES AND BECAUSE OF THOSE DIFFERENCES WE WILL ALWAYS HAVE DISCRIMINATION, ESPECIALLY RACISM...

The Pool Guy

While we were on vacation, our 24' round above ground pool motor stopped working probably because we had had so much rain that our pool was overflowing from the top and the 5 year old motor was being stressed more than it could handle.  After having no water circulation for about 3 days, a new motor was installed but the pool guy notice a crack on the top valve was leaking water and ordered a new valve that was installed yesterday.

I was home and noticed the pool guy walking out to his car around the deck and assuming he had finished called out to him to ask a few questions before he left.  When I got within 6 feet of him, he said, "You know you cannot wear a shirt like that out in public anymore," pointing to the T-shirt I was wearing.  I looked down at my T-shirt as best as I could and smiled as I looked back at him, saying, "isn't that crazy...  I had not thought much about it until you pointed it out."

We talked about how during the 8 years of the Obama Administration, none of this BLM stuff ever took place and there were numerous killings of black people by white cops...  but, now that Trump is President, it is all somehow his fault.

The pool guy said that during the 10 years he has worked with him father, the only people they have to worry about not paying their bills are their black clients that all their white clients, Hispanic clients, Asian clients, and Native American clients always pay their bill on or before their due dates...  but, if he mentions this to anyone, especially the black client that is not paying their bills on time, then he and his father are called RACISTS.
