What Are The Wealthy Doing For Americans?

The wealthy have put their money into politics so that the Black Lives Matter movement will STOP white police from killing blacks and so that BLACKS will have a better life...

Now...
the wealthy will rebut that statement saying they do much, much more, like:
funding african american cultural centers
urban hospitals and medical research
investing in companies that hire people
investing in technologies that save people

HOWEVER...
in the reality of today's American GREED, most of the money belonging to the wealthy is sheltered away from the government's taxes in offshore tax havens and tax shelters...   and, the money that they give is not just because they are altruistic but because they are giving just enough charitable contributions to offset the taxes that they are supposed to pay...  but, you are too busy living paycheck-to-paycheck to notice what they are doing.

How are the wealthy helping our Veterans?
How are the wealthy helping our Disabled Veterans?
How are the wealthy helping Americans living in Poverty?
How are the wealthy helping Americans on Social Security?

It would appear, at least to me, that the WEALTHY are being proactive rather than reactive and once you are in one of those categories, the wealthy have no interest in you other than what they have to...  that is to say...  how the Federal Government wants to spend their tax dollars.

The wealthy give you just enough to keep your head above the water line but after that you are on your own and they don't give a damn if you are not strong enough to keep treading water, they have done their part and now their conscience is clear.

AMERICAN RETIREES: Go To Jail -- Live Large

FACTS:

The average Social Security check in 2020 was $1,503/month or $18,036/year

In 2020, 40% of all retirees received all their income from Social Security

60% of all Americans above 60 years of age are living below the poverty line of $29,425/year

Seniors in financial trouble should commit a crime or multiple crimes so that they can be guaranteed jail time...

IN JAIL, INMATES HAVE

  1. a place to sleep
  2. a roof over their heads
  3. clothes to wear
  4. three meals a day
  5. a craft to learn
  6. warm showers
  7. games to play
  8. medical care
  9. visitors
  10. time outside
  11. time alone
  12. people to be with
It may not be the IDEAL place to die but it could be better than what they have, especially if they are living on the streets or cannot pay their bills...

In East TN, if a married couple received the average SOCIAL SECURITY check, then their combined income would be $3,006/month or $36, 0732/year which is above the poverty line and very doable to live...  but, only if you are married and/or living together...  living alone can be incredible problematic.

Without family or friends or help from the government, the ONLY LOGICAL COURSE OF ACTION is to GO TO JAIL for the REST OF ONE'S LIFE...

WELCOME TO AMERICA
HOME OF THE BRAVE
LAND OF OPPORTUNITY
DEATH FOR RETIREES

Life Without Parole

 WE ARE ALL CONVICTED FELONS...

AND...  our jailors are the WEATHLY...  the once percenters who control life in America because they have so much POWER...  power that was given, taken, borrowed, earned, or stolen...  it matters little when you consider their endgame...

The one percenters control it all:
  1. Banks and Investment Houses
  2. Computers and Technology
  3. Communications and Mass Media
  4. Manufacturing and Retail
  5. Entertainment and Professional Sports
  6. The Justice System and the Courts
  7. Politics and all the Politicians
  8. Transportation and Logistics
  9. Weapons and Ammunition
  10. Clothing and Housing
  11. Leisure and Recreation
  12. Education and Innovation
  13. Medical and Pharmaceuticals
If you yourself don't own something, then you work for them...  these one percenters...  helping them to get wealthier and wealthier each day that they live...  and, they don't give a damn about you and yours, only their bottom lines, competitions, and tax deductions...

We live in THEIR SOCIETY as prisoners...  convicted felons trying to earn a living, earn more money that is always within their powers to give or take away...  how stupid are we not to REVOLT and take it all away from them...  share it with our friends and neighbors, enjoying their holidays...

Our unions tried to help us once but as our union leaders became wealthy, they became friends with the one percenters and now do their bidding...  and, the losers are all the rest of us who remain in their prisons and jails, with no free meals and housing like the REAL FELONS get...  we are left to try and figure it out ourselves...

Remembering What's Important.

The past never catches up to the future because we are always having to live out our today...  and our future never pays much attention to our past unless it is trying to teach us a lesson...  the present is all anyone has...  nothing more and certainly nothing less...  we can remember all we want to remember but it will never make any difference as it will always be relived in memories and perhaps those memories will reflect what was important.

I do not remember much about my childhood except bits and pieces of fragments that may or may not be an accurate representation of what was experienced...  perhaps they are not even close at all...  and yet, they still lurk around my as if they were previous tomorrows.  My teenage years are a lot more vividly remembered especially my high school years but not my first 3 years of college or the 2 years I spent at that same college after 2 years in the military.  The chronology is rather accurate but the memories falter and all I can really see is that I attended and graduated...  and, received an honorable discharge from tje Navy.

My first marriage is also a blur even though it lasted more than 2 decades and provided me with a daughter whose life I will always cherish even if she no longer cherishes mine...  for one reason or another neither of which has been shared with me or any other as far as I can tell... although only her hairdresser knows for sure.

My second marriage is more readily available therefore my memories are probably more accurate and now that we have been together for over 25 years, I am not real sure what happened in our first decade together...  if was good or bad or simply indifferent...  although, one would suspect it would be better than not since we've stayed together almost 30 years...  almost half my lifetime...

So, what has actually been important in my life?

I could probably list them on the fingers of one hand with the other one tied behind my back...  but, all that is important is that we live another day.

Five years ago, I threw away all the books and notebooks that I had been collecting throughout my career, all of which I had either used or read and most of which had been given.  There were about 20 boxes of these books and I really did not know I had collected so much shit and the amount of space that it freed up was absolutely amazing.

But, more importantly my life did not fall apart once the last load was taken to the dump, so those damn books and notebooks must not have been that important.

About the only thing that I really consider important is all the writing I have done...  and yes, ever since high school, I have kept all of it...  but, if I were to go back and read some of my short stories, I would not even remember writing them or how I felt while doing so.  My poems are the same way.  I have written over 42,000 and NEVER ONCE have I looked back,. or reread, or revised any one of them...  if I did, the poems were instantly be changed from their original meaning...  even if the poem was not worth a damn.

So, I am not sure what's important in my life and what should be remembered.  My parents were important to me but each passing years causes them to pass farther and farther outside the perimeters of my memories...  and, I know this should not be so, but it is.

I am not sure if anything is really worth remembering except what might happen today.

Not Bad For A Man

Let's Return to the QUOTA System

 AMERICAN DEMOGRAPHICS 2020

59.7%     Non Hispanic Whites (formerly Caucasian)

18.7%     Hispanics

13.4%     Blacks (formerly African American or People of Color)

 5.9%      Asian

1.3%      Native American and Native Alaskan

I propose that starting in January 2021 or as close thereafter as is politically feasible and practical that we commence doing everything in AMERICA based upon the 2020 DEMOGRAPHICS data and that we check that data every 2-3 years to see if it has changed...

  • All House of Representatives
  • All Senators
  • All Judges
  • All State Governors
  • All State General Assemblies
  • All Law Enforcement Offices
  • All Branches of the Military
  • All Government Employees
  • All American Embassies on Foreign Soil

WILL HIRE COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY BASED UPON THE ABOVE LISTED DEMOGRAPHICS HENCE FORTH AND FOREVER MORE LET IT BE SO...

  1. Only 59.7% will be non Hispanic whites
  2. Only 18.7% will be Hispanics
  3. Only 13.4% will be Blacks
  4. Only 5.9% will be Asians
  5. Only 1.3% will be Native Americans/Alaskans
NOTE:  this has nothing to do with qualifications as qualifications no longer matters because...  there may be some ethnic individuals who are not qualified and the government no longer wants to be accused of ethnic discrimination...   especially since the BLM movement brought all this to our attention...

IT IS OUR HOPE AND STRONGEST DESIRE THAT THE FOLLOWING ADOPT OUR NEW HIRING PRACTICES:
  • All professional sports teams and associations
  • All media outlets (including online)
  • All technology companies
  • All healthcare organizations and hospitals
  • All Hollywood actors and actresses
  • All Resorts, Hotels, and Motels
  • All Artist Guilds, Clubs, and Communities
  • All Singers and Musicians
  • All Companies that employ any blue collar worker
EQUALITY DOES NOT EXIST IN AMERICA NOR WILL IT EVER EXIST IN AMERICA...  it is for this reason that we think all Americans should embrace this new philosophy...  I mean, when you think about it...  it is only the fairest way to cut and distribute the PIE.

IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE YOUR PERCENTAGE HAVE MORE BABIES...

Emerging Nations for 2021 and Beyond

The Big Emerging Markets (BEM) economies are (alphabetically ordered):
  1. Argentina
  2. Brazil
  3. China
  4. India
  5. Indonesia
  6. Mexico
  7. Poland
  8. South Africa
  9. South Korea
  10. Turkey
  11. Egypt
  12. Iran
  13. Nigeria
  14. Pakistan
  15. Russia
  16. Saudi Arabia
  17. Taiwan
  18. Thailand
NOTATION:  Don't you find it interesting that these emerging markets are mostly on the other side of the world from the United States of America...  and, as they grow and increase their economies, financial resources will be pulled away from the USA...  and, invested overseas...  it is nothing personal...  just business...  by 2030, their growth and their wealth will be unstoppable if it already is unstoppable now.

What Is an Emerging Market Economy?

An emerging market economy is the economy of a developing nation that is becoming more engaged with global markets as it grows. Countries classified as emerging market economies are those with some, but not all, of the characteristics of a developed market. As an emerging market economy progresses it typically becomes more integrated with the global economy, as shown by increased liquidity in local debt and equity markets, increased trade volume and foreign direct investment, and the domestic development of modern financial and regulatory institutions. Currently, some notable emerging market economies include India, Mexico, Russia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, China, and Brazil.

Critically, an emerging market economy is transitioning from a low income, less developed, often pre-industrial economy towards a modern, industrial economy with a higher standard of living.

Understanding Emerging Market Economy

Investors seek out emerging markets for the prospect of high returns, as they often experience faster economic growth as measured by GDP. However, along with higher returns usually comes much greater risk. Investors’ risk in emerging market economies can include political instability, domestic infrastructure problems, currency volatility, and illiquid equity, as many large companies may still be "state-run" or private. Also, local stock exchanges may not offer liquid markets to outside investors.

A New Decade Soon To Begin

In just a few days, that too will quickly pass, our nation, our world, will step into a new decade where changes will take place faster than ever before...  and, this new decade will be ushered in by the Democrats, not the Republicans which will allow this new decade to be focused on labor and not on management...  even though there are many, many incredibly wealthy Democrats who have invested their fortunes in the absolute growth of technology.

HOWEVER...
and let me be clear...
  • labor does not hire people
  • labor does not invest
  • labor does not create jobs
  • labor does not expand companies
  • labor does not create new markets
  • labor does not innovate
  • labor does not provide capital
  • labor does not negotiate contracts
  • labor does not deal with other countries
  • labor does not manage themselves
  • labor does not work for free
  • labor does not wear nice clothes to work
  • labor does not live in big houses
  • labor does not drive expensive cars
  • labor does not keep their money in offshore bank accounts
  • labor does not avoid paying taxes
  • labor does not send their children to private schools
  • labor does not dine in fancy restaurants
  • labor does not use good grammar
  • labor cannot afford to miss a day of work
  • labor does not read the Wall Street Journal
  • labor does not fly around in private jets
  • labor cannot afford to purchase cocaine
  • labor cannot afford to purchase the finest bottled water

AND NOW ABOUT THIS NEW DECADE...

  • It will be a decade of growth for EMERGING COUNTRIES
  • It will be a decade of growth for the CHINESE ECONOMY
  • It will be a decade of growth for the CHINESE MILITARY
  • It will be a decade when IRAN goes nuclear
  • It will be a decade when NORTH KOREA goes nuclear
  • It will be a decade when RUSSIA expands its territory
  • It will be a decade when INDIA's economy surges to #3
  • It will be a decade when TERRORISM rebuilds its influence and strength
  • It will be a decade of Medicare for ALL in the USA
  • It will be a decade of unprecedented immigration into the USA
  • It will be a decade where USA Blacks are given more and more
  • It will be a decade of spending on the USA's environment
  • It will be a decade of restructuring USA law enforcement
  • It will be a decade of rubbing the USA's white man's face in slavery

AND...
do you really believe that the DEMOCRATS will stop any of this from happening?

Freest Countries in the WORLD

as presented by...

By Rachel Dicker, Associate Editor, Social Media - US News and World Report

The United States prides itself on upholding freedom, but recent research indicates America is not as free as many other countries.

In fact, it might be less free now than it was before.

According to the Human Freedom Index, which "presents the state of human freedom in the world based on a broad measure that encompasses personal, civil, and economic freedom," America is the 23rd freest country in the world.

The U.S. fell from 16th place in 2008 and 19th place in 2013.

The index is co-published by the Cato Institute, a libertarian, free-market-oriented think tank based in Washington, D.C., in collaboration with the conservative-leaning Fraser Institute in Canada, and the Liberales Institut at the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom in Germany.

"Human freedom is a social concept that recognizes the dignity of the individual. The declining performance of the United States, once considered the bastion of liberty, is worrisome," Ian Vasquez, director of the Cato Institute’s Center for Global Liberty and Prosperity and co-author of the study, said in a press release. "We should all be concerned with the impact on liberty of the war on terror, the war on drugs, and the decline in the rule of law and economic liberty in the United Stat

According to the release, the index "ranks 159 countries based on 79 distinct indicators of personal, civil, and economic freedom, using data from 2008 to 2014, the most recent year for which sufficient data is available."

The index found Hong Kong to be the freest country, followed closely by Switzerland.

Other notable rankings include Russia, which ranked 115th, and China, which ranked 141st. Meanwhile, Iran, Yemen and Libya rounded out the bottom of the list.

I have long suspected that the United States of America was no longer a perfect example of DEMOCRACY and HUMAN RIGHTS and FREEDOMS... as it was during the middle of the twentieth century...  but, no one wanted to listen because everyone perceived that they were free and could do anything and everything they wanted to do within reason...  but, the biggest problem with have too much freedom is that you don't notice as damn thing as it starts to slip away...

Going With The Flow

If I live 25 more years, then I have 9,131 more wake up calls before the Good Lord or someone else takes my body; if the years remaining are only 20, then my wake up calls reduce to 7,303; and if, for some reason my Maker or someone else decides that society only needs me for another 10, then my wake up considerably reduce to 3,652; however, I am not going to spend any of my morning marking any days off a calendar...  this is not the way this life was meant to be lived...  at least, not from my current perspective...

In my early years, I lived fast and loose, taking chances and risks that only not so smart idiots would take and for some reason survived them all...  but, learned no lessons...  after marriage and during middle age, I matured into the kind of person who made the kinds of decisions that always put work first instead of my family or any of my spiritual beliefs that I seemed to be leaving behind.  These years were tumultuous to say the least and again...  no lessons learned...

A funny thing happened to me along the age road and it smacked me hard in the face when I turned 60...  my healthy body that I had been treating perfectly with proper diets, no alcohol, no smoking, and exercise decided that it wanted to give into CANCER and to pour salt into the wound decided that it was necessary to have a severe heart attack.  Instead of killing me, my damn healthy body survived and decided that it was going to keep me above ground for a few more years...

This may be nothing new to those of you who like to read what I have to say, but what was new that was learned was my new perspective on life...  It seems that my entire life was spent trying to take my body in one direction, when my body fought me taking me into another direction...  that is to say, how I ended up and doing what I was doing at age 60 was NEVER PART of any of my PLANS of Action...  hard to believe but true...

My mind took me down one dirt road when my body took me down another.  I started out in light manufacturing, went into the arts, and then continuing education, took a detour into manufacturing again, catapulted into administration, and ended my career teaching...  which was not ever the last choice on my list, in fact, none of my jobs were jobs that I really wanted to do at all...  they all just sort of fell into my lap one day and there I was...

My heart's desire was threefold:  a modern dancer and/or a fine arts artist and if those did not work out, then an Architect.

Ain't it funny how life works out...  or maybe not funny at all, since I spent 42 years never doing anything that I really wanted to do...

After 12 years and into my 13th of cancer treatments...  I have had almost everything offered:

  • Surgery
  • Radiation
  • Chemotherapy
  • Immunotherapy
and...  this latest treatment protocols, combining radiation with immunotherapy seems to really be working which is why I believe that it is entirely possible that I might have another 20-25 years...  and, while this may be ambitious, I do not believe it is an exaggeration.

My life has NEVER BEEN MY OWN really and it took me 67 years to figure that out and while many people on this earth DO NOT believe in PREDESTINATION, both of my feet are firmly planted in that camp...

Why, you might ask?

Because... it all started with my birth actually...   and the fact that while my parents planted the seed, there was something more spiritual, more divine that caused ME to be born and no someone else.  You might say, it was the combo of my parents DNA, but that is too simplistic of an answer because it still does not explain why ME instead of my brother or my sister...  or, someone else...

I ended up where I did in life because that is exactly where I supposed to be and nowhere else...  not matter what I wanted or taking into the consideration the desire of someone else...

My purpose may yet to defined...  or, it may have already happened...  I do not know and will never know I suppose until I die...  but someone else or something else has already decided what, if anything, that I will contribute...  and that the purpose of my life just seems to be GOING WITH THE FLOW and nothing more.  What ever it is that I am suppose to do...  I will do...  or, have done already...  and, there is not a damn thing I can do about except just sit back and enjoy...

It is this awareness that has become my life's lesson...

THE YEAR IS 2030

The year is 2030 and I am 83 years old... and the odds are against me living until the year 2040...  however anything is possible...

The Trust Fund that was left to me by my parents will be exhausted and I will be living totally on Social Security and whatever money I have managed to save.

The USA will NO LONGER LEAD THE WORLD:
  • Economically
  • Militarily
That role will now fall to China...  and, this will happen because of all the EMERGING COUNTRIES located in the geographical area...  and, think of it this way...  all those cheap prices you paid for all those things you wanted...  were made in all those countries that because of you are now emerging and taking the spotlight away from Americans and shinning it on Asians...  or, Orientals...

  • America's NATIONAL DEBT will be extremely high
  • There will not be enough jobs for all the college graduates
  • Our military budgets will have been slashed several ways
  • Monies will be diverted into all sorts of social programs
  • America's good fortune will have been throw out with the bath water

Global Warming...  Climate Change...  whatever you want to call it, will have devastating impacts on the entire world and not because the USA did not do their part...  but because the rest of the world decided not to participate and it takes everyone...  not just a few...

America's WEALTHY will have become MORE WEALTHY than every before and not because of repeat business from Americans but because of all the GLOBAL MARKETS that came into existence because of all these emerging countries who became wealthy because Americans wanted CHEAP PRICES.

POETIC JUSTICE...  WOULD YOU NOT SAY...

Remember,
2030 is only 10 years away...
think how fast 8 years of Obama passed and
the 4 years of Trump passed even faster...

ALSO remember Forrest Gump's Mother who said:  STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES...   and, see how much of that wisdom pertains to you and me...  and, all the rest of us who expect different results by doing the same thing over and over.

IN 2030, you will be able to compare the USA with the ROMAN EMPIRE...

Global Economic Forecasts for 2030

IN 10 YEARS THE WORLD WILL LOOK LIKE THIS...

In 10 years
, all the emerging countries in the world will catch-up to the global economic leaders in 2020...  this is not a phenomenon but will continue well into the future...

In 10 years, it is predicted that our global population increase will peak and start to level off and that there will be an alarming growth of the Middle Class that will put a stain on global resources...

In 10 years, the availability of fresh water will not be available to everyone because of population increases, urbanization, pollution, climate change, and wasteful usage.

In 10 years, there will be an alarming increase in the aging population in Europe while at the same time there will be an alarming increase in the youth populations in the Middle East and North Africa.

In 10 years, there will be increases in Global Trade due to population increases to the point that our current transportation capabilities will be severely limited and will not be able to accommodate.

In 10 years, the emerging economies will have a tremendous impact on Global Finances and Global Resources as China's economy continues to mature with them thus shifting the location and focus of the growing global economy.

In 10 years, there is disagreement that the US Economy will grow as a result of its vast new oil resources as the global economy shifts towards the east.

In 10 years, there will still be three main areas:  the US, Europe, and China...  however, China will be the largest.

In 10 years, China's economy will be just as large as the economies of the US and Europe COMBINED...  SOURCE:  ESPAS

Our Shifting Global Economy

COLUMN-China and the world economy's shifting centre of gravity: Kemp
By John Kemp
(John Kemp is a Reuters market analyst. The views expressed are his own)

Some Excerpts from his article dated March 2020:
LONDON, March 5 (Reuters) - Most western policymakers and journalists view the world economy through a framework that is 10-15 years out of date, failing to account fully for the enormous shift in activity towards China and the rest of Asia.

Most economic commentators and policy analysts cling to a world view that puts the United States and the North Atlantic countries at the core of the global economy, with Latin America, Africa and Asia on the periphery.....

That might have been a useful representation of the global economy in the 1980s and early 1990s, but it has become increasingly inaccurate in the 2000s and 2010s.

Rather than economic and financial changes originating in the United States and Western Europe and radiating out to the periphery, shock transmission has become bi-directional.....

Intuitively, in the 1980s and early 1990s, global economic activity was concentrated in North America and Western Europe, with outposts in Japan and the Asian Tigers (South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore).

But since then, Asia’s economies, especially China, have grown much faster than their western counterparts, pulling the centre of gravity steadily deeper into the eastern hemisphere and Eurasia.....

China’s share of the global economy has quadrupled to 16% in 2018 from 4% in 2002, according to the International Air Transport Association (“Updated impact assessment of the novel coronavirus”, IATA, March 5)......

The trade war of 2018/19 demonstrated it was not possible to damage China without inflicting widespread collateral damage on other countries (“Trade war rebounds on the United States”, China, July 9, 2019).

Medium-sized economies with a high share of imports and exports in their gross domestic product, including Germany and South Korea, were hit especially hard as they became caught in the cross-fire......

China’s rapid urbanisation, industrialisation and emerging middle class have been the principal drivers of world economic growth in recent years (“China has replaced U.S. as locomotive of global economy”, Reuters, Nov. 5).

China accounted for 28% of all global output growth in 2013-2018, more than twice the share of the United States or India, and dwarfing other countries, according to data from the International Monetary Fund.

If China’s economic growth is to be restrained, somehow, it is not clear what would replace it as a driver of rising global incomes......

China’s economy is far larger than the Soviet Union’s and much more deeply integrated into the global economy as both a producer-exporter and consumer-importer.

For most countries in Europe, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia, prosperity depends on growing exports to China and maintaining good relations with the United States.

Forcing them to choose is forcing them to become poorer......

**********
Now I am not an economic expert or forecaster of what be ahead of us in the future, but if you read the excerpts that I posted, you can see that the US in no longer the main driver of the GLOBAL ECONOMY...  it would appear that CHINA has a greater influence on the global economy than we first might have suspected and the rapid growth of the economy of INDIA will help shift the focus of the global economy from the WEST to the EAST...

And, while that might be very good for the rest of the world, it is certainly not good news for the United States of America and her economic future.

A Heavy Fog Descends

FOG has descended in my part of East TN...  a heavy fog for that matter and not mental at all, although I have experienced that a time or two during my lifetime.  I watched it increase in intensity as I looked outside my window seeing what could be seen this morning...  while drinking coffee...  of course, which is a natural remedy for morning fatigue...  or, at least it used to be.

My neighbor's house, I cannot see, nor can I see the Magnolia trees just to the right of my field of vision which I know are still there because I saw them no more than fifteen minutes ago while standing at the window, making my first cup of coffee...  it takes 3 cups ya know to fill up a YETI.

There is no sky that I can see nor is there a horizon where a horizon used to be and there are no bearings on which to fix my position other than the objects inside this house which the fog has not yet disturbed...  at least so far...  but, one never knows for sure especially if I were to open the door and encourage the fog to enter...   would it accept my offer?

How foolish I am being this morning about this fog especially since from where it came, I do not know and if I said I do not care, what then would you think of me?  That I have no feelings at all for a disturbance of nature...  or, perhaps, I don't care for nature at all which seems a little silly since I live out in the country and not in any of our disturbed cities.

The fog makes it appear that the end is near...  and, that nothing else matters except for what we cannot see as the fog continues to block our vision in all directions...  outside the windows north and south, outside the porches east and west...   and, above or below I cannot see because of my roof and floor but I suspect if I could see in those directions, the fog would be there too.

Our cats have not noticed the heavy fog and for that I am relieved because if there were to be sitting at the windows, all they would see is a white darkness behind which nothing exists...  at least in their minds that might be so since they have no imagination, no fantasies, or dreams with which to compare what they might have been seeing.

A heavy fog remains and I wonder for how long?

S O S

SAME OLE SHIT...   just another day...  another dollar...  with 25 cents going to our uncle...   to help pay for all the programs given to people who either do not want to work or claim consistent persecution like the JEWS claim against the ARABS...   and, of which the ARABS don't deny...  nor do they deny their HATRED of Americans regardless of their color, looking only at their passports.

I recall that when I was an enlisted man in the NAVY that SOS meant SHIT ON A SHINGLE...  or, creamed chopped beef on toast...  ain't it funny how names and events and meals get slang interpretations by those who ain't necessarily educated or intellectual.

SO...  whether you are working or living off the tax payer like my wife and I living on Social Security, each day is SOS for the most part unless you are wealthy... and then SOS to you means increasing one's income...  and, I remember someone said that Howard Hughes, on his death bed said, "I'd like to earn just one more dollar."

Every 4 to 8 years, POTUS's come and go...  none of them really ever achieving anything, even when the Congress is of the same Party...  and SOS to them means RE-ELECTIONS.

How STUPID do we have to be, to understand that those with WEALTH AND POWER don't give a FLYING FLIP about us or our silly ass points-of-view since individually we can do absolutely nothing to stop them which is really depressing when one thinks about this from an SOS point-of-view...

WE ARE DOOMED TO ALWAYS REMAIN EXACTLY WHO WE ARE AND WHAT SOS MEANS TO US NOW WILL STILL MEAN THE SAME THEN...

I Must Be Crazy -- part II

Oddly enough and over 7 hours later...  it is still raining outside and I am assuming in the Valley as well...  and, while the temperatures have warmed up a tad (an East TN word that could mean one inch or a mile)...  I am still writing but inside reclining in a chair...  and, making it somewhat difficult for me to type is my Siamese cat laying in my lap...  of course, he appears to be sleeping which is a matter for conjecture because as soon as you think this damn cat is sleeping, he has used his claws to push himself off my legs as he goes after another of our male felines...  of which we have three...  and, I am not sure how we ended up odd because I'd prefer even...

For most of the day, I have been typing on the computer except for a couple of hours that was devoted to making home made soup because we had finished just yesterday all our Thanksgiving leftovers...  lasting 7 days is not bad at all...  I would think since that one big supper was a tad more expensive than all out other meals...  getting a good ROI on prepared food is what my Dad taught me...  as every time I left food on my place, he would remind me that there are starving children in CHINA...  I am not sure why China was on his mind because I knew for sure he did not give a damn about China or the fact that their children were starving...  hell, he never spoke about the starving children in America...  and, he had to know that they were not eating 3 squares a day...

In my soup, I put:
2 chopped medium size onions
1 heaping tablespoon of garlic from a jar and maybe a little more
3 stalks of celery
2 orange bell peppers
2-3 ounces of frozen sweet potato fries
1 can of white beans
1 can of kidney beans
1 large bag of frozen Kale
a shit load of pepper, and a little oregano, turmeric, paprika, and salt
NOTE:  all totaled, I had about 1600 calories but after cooking was poured into 5 plastic containers which calculates out to 320 calories per container.  These plastic containers previously held sliced ham in a sealed package and are more economical to use than buying new ones.

So...  now I have at least one prepared meal each day that only needs 2-3 minutes in the microwave...  and NO...  I do not get tired of eating the same meal 5 days in a row...  as long as it saves money...  and, the fact that I have gotten used to doing this since I started the practice in College in 1966...  does not hurt either.

In College, I would cook a cup of rice along with a can of vegetable soup in a popcorn popper and have a meal for 2-3 days, especially in the winter, because I could put the containers I used on the window sill between the screen and the glass, to keep the contents from spoiling.  In the 1960's, springs and falls were never as warm as they are today, so it was fairly easy to keep food from spoiling.

Do You Want To Become Wealthy?

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL NEED IF YOU

WANT TO BECOME WEALTHY...

YOU MUST HAVE/POSSESS/BE WILLING TO:

  • Inherit Wealth From Your Families
  • Wealthy friends give you money with which to take risks
  • Become the best of the best in all that you do
  • Do whatever you have to do, regardless of the guilt
  • Break most or most all the rules and not get caught
  • The intelligence greater than everyone else
  • Athletic Abilities in the top 1% of all athletes
  • Musical Abilities in the top 1% of all musicians
  • Artistic Abilities in the top 1% of all artists
  • Acting Abilities in the top 1% of all actors
  • Writing Abilities in the top 1% of all writers
  • Cheat, Lie, Steal, and/or Gamble
  • Convince others that you are telling the truth when you are not
  • The mind and/or insights of a genius
  • Develop products and ideas that no one knows they want
  • Become involved in organized crime
  • Pick up other people's garbage

Most everyone is not on this list and will never be on this list because they were simply not born with the skills and/or abilities to be on this list and the odds are that they will spend a lifetime hoping to acquire them but never will...

THIS IS JUST THE WAY THAT IT IS...

You might be good at what you do, but today just being good is not enough...  you must become EXCEPTIONAL or you will never reach that level of success where you will be able to call yourself wealthy...   unless you measure wealthy in a NON FINANCIAL WAY...

If this is you...  then all I can say is that YOU ARE LUCKY even if you do not believe in LUCK...  because being born with skills and abilities, in my opinion, is and has always been the LUCK OF THE DRAW...  and maybe some divine intervention...  but, if this is not you...  then, all I can say is that you need to simply accept your position in life and try to make the most out of what you have been given, maybe become a little better or even better than just a little, but outside of that, the odds are you never will have or become any better than you already are...
