What's Wrong With Illegal Immigration?

The Costs of Illegal Immigration

By draining public funds, creating unfair competition for jobs with America’s least prepared workers and thereby lowering wages and working conditions, and by imposing unwanted strains on services designed to provide assistance to Americans, illegal immigration causes harm to Americans and legal residents.
Illegal Aliens’ Numbers are Large and Growing

FAIR estimates there are between 10-12 million illegal aliens residing in the country in 2005. According to the Census Bureau, there were an estimated 8.7 million illegal aliens living in the United States in 2000. According to the Migration Policy Institute, roughly 500,000 illegal aliens are added to that population every year. The immigration authorities also estimate that there are over one million temporary illegal aliens, such as seasonal workers, here at any given time. The population of illegal aliens would be higher, but in 1986 our government gave amnesty to nearly three million illegal aliens, allowing them to become legal members of our society, and we have allowed additional millions to gain amnesty through other loopholes.

Illegal Immigration Undermines Legal Immigration.
There is a list of several million eligible people waiting to be legally admitted as immigrants to our country; some of them have been on that list for many years waiting for one of the numerically limited visas to become available. Illegal immigration makes a mockery of those people’s adherence to the rules and of our country’s sovereignty.

Illegal immigration harms the American workforce
According to a study in 1996 of the costs of illegal immigration by Rice Univ. economist, Dr. Donald Huddle, illegal aliens were displacing roughly 730,000 American workers every year, at a cost of about $4.3 billion a year, and the supply of cheap labor depresses the wages and working conditions of the working poor. The approximate doubling of the illegal alien population since the time of that estimate means that the number of jobs lost to American workers and the costs of displacement would also likely have more than doubled.

Illegal Immigration is a Burden on the Taxpayer
The costs of illegal immigration to the taxpayer are numerous, but the largest costs are the education of their children, emergency medical care and incarceration for those arrested for crimes. Despite being ineligible, some illegal aliens also get welfare the same way they get jobs: with identity documents falsely identifying them as U.S. citizens. In addition, if they have U.S.-born children, they may collect welfare assistance in the name of those children. The annual net cost of illegal immigrants (after subtracting their tax payments) to the American taxpayer is likely to be more than $45 billion. Our study of the net fiscal “The Costs of Illegal Immigration to Californians” estimated the partial costs at $10.5 billion in that state alone.

The Number of Deportations is Low
Compared to the size of the illegal alien population, the number of annual deportations is shockingly small. In fiscal year 2003, only 186,151 aliens were formerly removed.1 Many of the deportees are caught by the police after they have committed a crime. In FY’03, 39,600 of the deported aliens fell in that category. The federal Bureau of Prisons estimates that nearly three-tenths of its prisoners are aliens.

Recent Improvements Have Not Solved the Problem
Although the number of deported illegal aliens is more than triple the average during the 1990s, we are only treading water in a rising tide. The Department of Homeland Security has no plan for identifying and removing the bulk of the illegal alien population, whose number continues to rise. Most illegal aliens remain safe from capture and deportation unless they are arrested for a crime.

Some Aspects of INS Enforcement are Getting Worse
Stung by criticism from companies about worksite raids, often accompanied by criticism from elected representatives, the immigration authorities instituted in 1998 an innovation called “the Phoenix Plan.” Instead of raiding a company, they informed it on the basis of a review of employment documents that they appeared to have hired illegal alien workers, giving the companies the opportunity to dismiss the workers. When this happened, the workers were free to simply walk away with their counterfeit identity documents to another employer. The interior immigration inspectors have only the resources to focus on a few large violators at a time, so most illegal alien workers — and the companies that employ them — get off scot-free.

Amnesty is Not the Answer
As millions of illegal aliens are allowed to remain here year after year, pressure rises from immigrant advocates to grant them amnesty. But this is the equivalent of pardoning criminals en masse because it is easier than capturing them. It encourages further illegal immigration and, by creating new “legal” immigrants out of old illegal ones, adds dramatically to the backlog of relatives abroad who apply for legal admission. It also adds to the costs to the taxpayer, because when illegal aliens are given legal residence, they become eligible for additional tax-funded services.

The answer is to deter further illegal immigration and to tackle the removal of the current illegal alien population by:
  • Improving the security of personal identification systems and require verification of legal work status.
  • Linking government databases on births, deaths, and immigration status.
  • Tracking foreigners on temporary visas to assure they leave when required.
  • Strengthening enforcement capabilities both on the border and in the interior of the country including the provision of more detention space for aliens pending deportation, and
  • Developing additional cooperative federal-local immigration enforcement programs.

Critical to the success of the deterrence of further illegal immigration and reducing the current illegal alien population is single-minded support by our elected leaders for our immigration authorities in their law enforcement efforts.

Refusing to Remove Shipping Containers

The Grand Canyon State won’t be contained.

Arizona is balking at a White House demand to remove shipping containers the state’s Republican governor ordered double-stacked along the Mexico border because they were not cleared for use on federal land.

The US Bureau of Reclamation informed state officials last week that using the containers to plug gaps in the border wall near Yuma violates federal law — the latest dispute between the Biden White House and Republican-led border states over the ongoing migration crisis.

Gov. Doug Ducey, expressing frustration at President Biden’s failure to address immigration, ordered the building of a border wall by stacking more than 100 22-feet-high shipping containers on top of one another earlier this summer.  READ MORE...

RULE OF LAW - Part II

Three middle-aged wealthy men who were influenced by Great Britain wrote The Federal Papers describing the CORE VALUES of the American People, because these aristocrats did not believe that the common man did not have the ability to articulate something so intellectually important.  And, while that might be true, it is highly arrogant, egotistical, with an air of astronomical self-importance...

So, what are are American CORE VALUES?

  • Highly Religious
  • Hard Working
  • Equality
  • Family Oriented
  • Community Oriented
  • High Moral & Integrity
  • Honesty & Fair Play
UNFORTUNATELY, these core values only pertained to the caucasian race that most immigrated from Europe.  Very few if any extend out into the black communities or other minorities.  And, most importantly, 80% of Americans no longer believe in any of these as their CORE VALUES...

Young American was comprised of Aristocrats who settled the north and provided us with our manufacturing base while the south was settled unorthodox aristocrats who relied on immigrants that had been released from European prisons.  This formed the North/South hatred that is still in existence today.

Since 1776, America has changed dramatically not only in its populations of immigrants but in how each ethnic group perseceives and tolerates other ethnic groups.

Blacks have made the overt decision to challenge America's RULE OF LAW by not following it as much as they are trying to destroy it...  Blacks have seen first hand that America's RULE OF LAW does not pertain to everyone equally and fairly which has caused much negative reflections in their various ethnic bands spread throughout the United States.

TODAY, our RULE OF LAW is shot to hell and for all intense and purposes does not exist at all except in the minds of our law makers on Capital Hill who continue to perceive that they are making laws that will benefit a majority of the people...  when in reality their bills and laws are highly partisan....  like this current movement to completely halt the use of petroleum crude oil...

Their idiocy extends to closing down pipelines in the US/Canada that made us energy independent so that if we needed any additional oil, we would be forced to buy that our from our enemies making them wealthier than they were before...
NO RULE OF LAW HERE...

We have millions of immigrants crossing into our country along the southern border making each one that enters our RULE OF LAW country doing so by breaking the law...

How can anyone say that we have RULE OF LAW in the USA when illegal immigration is out of control?
NO RULE OF LAW HERE...

The Supreme Court of the US interprets the RULE OF LAW that the CONGRESS passes to determine if these laws align themselves with the guidelines in the US Constitution or not.  If these laws do not, they are deemed unconstitutional and can no longer be enforce.

The US Constitution makes it an illegal act for people to protest outside the homes of the Supreme Court Justices in an effort of intimidation to persuade them to vote a different way.

Today, there are hundreds of civil protestors in front of a few of the home of Supreme Court Justices trying to persuade them not to overturn Roe V Wade....

This is blatantly against the law and the current Department of Justice refuses to enforce the law and disperse the crowd.
NO RULE OF LAW HERE

Biden Says...

Our new President this morning announced that our border is closed...  and, that his announcement means that no more illegal immigrants will be allowed into the US of A...  However, our new President did not informed Border Patrol or Homeland Security to officially close the border nor did he inform whatever agency is responsible for letting people cross over the border into our country...

So, what exactly do these WORDS MEAN?

Do they mean that the border is closed but really open?

Do they mean that the border is open but really closed yet open if you really want to come here?

How strange these words are that this new President speaks and he smiles so nicely and talks so softly, elevating his voice just a tad when it comes to words he really, really wants to emphasize...  it is difficult not to believe this UNCLE JOE.

It reminds me of what Dr. Fouci said when questioned by Congress...  He said that the money that he gave the WUHAN LAB in China was not giving money to fund the study of the COVID virus...

This is like saying that we gave money to PLANNED PARENTHOOD but was not supposed to go to fund abortions...

What the hell else does PLANNED PARENTHOOD do other than fund abortions?

One of the days and I may be asking for too much here, the MAINSTREAM MEDIA is going to wake up and realize that the Democrats have been giving them the big chili up the brown eye...

And, I just hope that it is not too late.

Democratic Disaster in America

 A PERSONAL OPINION...

I have always been told that opinions are like assholes, everybody has got one...  and, it would appear that these comments do in fact bear resemblance to the truth...  My opinion(s) is/are as follows:

First>  the open door policy to illegal immigration will eventually bite us it is just unknown if that bite will be sooner or later.  Why do I think that?  Well, it is because of jobs, drugs, disease, crime, justice, education, drain on resources, and a bias towards politicians.  Rebuttal - well, our country has been based upon immigration and the fact that immigration has made us stronger rather than weaker.

Second>  spending tax dollars like a drunken sailor on 96 hours of liberty.  This will force taxes to be raise.  This spending will cause inflation.  This spending will increase our National Debt.  This spending will put a financial burden on future generations.  This spending will allow our enemies and competitors to become stronger both economically and militarily.  Rebuttal -  it will make our society stronger because it redistribute wealth and offers more equity and equality.

Third>  defunding the police movement (a byproduct of BLM)  and the killing of George Floyd by a racist law enforcement officer who was later convicted of murder.  Crime needs to be regulated, controlled, and contained.  Crime does not need to be allowed to flourish.  Defunding or Redirecting Police Funds to help BLACKS become more aware of their options, will not stop crime.  Rebuttal - Americans are intelligent enough to monitor, control, and regulate themselves.

PERSONALLY...  I don't give a shit or a rat's ass what the democrats do or don't do because being a retired person living off of social security, these democratic policies will simply give my wife and I more income and advantages that our children's children will have to pay for...  My wife and I will be long dead by then...

I also am concerned (just a tad) that because of what the democrats are doing will bring us closer to being forced to learn to read, write, and speak mandarin chinese.  The reason why I think this way is that mandarin is extremely hard to learn and i fear that only about 20% of americans have the intellectual capacity to learn mandarin easily...

Illegal Immigrants

The United States is a nation of LEGAL IMMIGRATION and the fact that thousands of illegal immigrants are coming across our borders is an indication that the United States is NO LONGER a nation of laws.  And, quite honestly, I am glad that we are no longer a nation of laws because this change favors the criminals...  and, not just those who consistently break the speed limit laws.

The United States is coming out from under the COVID Pandemic that completely disabled the entire nation...  and, all the illegal immigrants that are coming across the border are not being tested for COVID nor are they practicing SOCIAL DISTANCING which is REQUIRED of all Americans.

The United States is using TAX DOLLARS to feed, house, clothes, educated, and provide health care to Illegal Immigrants.

Most of these illegal immigrants DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH so how are they going to live in a country without the ability to understand.  I have visited other countries, especially those that speak SPANISH and since I did not speak Spanish, I found it very difficult to get directions or to order food at a restaurant or to find out where the department of Tourism was located.

If illegal immigrants do not work and cannot speak English...  how are they going to live unless someone takes care of them.  And, if no one takes care of them, will they steal and commit other crimes in order to survive?

WAKE UP AMERICA...
