A Democratic Republic and our Free Market Enterprise System

The title begs for definitions...

  • Democratic Republic
  • Free Market Enterprise System

What is a democratic republic in simple terms?  A merger of the two below...

Republic: "A state in which supreme power is held by the people and their elected representatives, and which has an elected or nominated president rather than a monarch." Democracy: "A system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives."

Free Market Enterprise System

What Is a Simple Definition of a Free Market Economy?
A free market economy is one without government intervention or regulation. In a purely free market, buyers and sellers arrive at prices based only on supply and demand.

NOTEThe key ingredient of the free enterprise system is the right of individuals to make their own choices in the purchase of goods, the selling of their products and their labor, and their participation in business structure.

Houston...  we have a problem here...
Our Democratic Republic is operating more like Socialism than it is a Democracy or a Republic.
Why?
Simply put:
  1. Public Education
  2. Social Security
  3. Medicare
  4. Public Transporation
are not democratic or republic concepts...  there are concepts of socialism where government provides programs to their residents...  these programs cause the government to collect more and more taxes to pay for these programs....   which is a VIOLATION OF FHE FREE MARKET ENTERPRISE SYSTEM...  where by definition there should be no government intervention.

I don't know about you but I find this incredibly interesting because the GENERAL PUBLIC does not really give a damn about living in a Democratic Republic or a Free Market Enterprise System as long as they are allowed to do whatever they damn well please.  And, the more the people do what they damn well please, then the more laws will be passed by State and Federal congresses to CONTROL THEIR ACTIONS for the public good or the public safety or because the BILL OF RIGHTS guarantees them the Federal Right To Pursue Happiness but not at the expense of others...  hence the LAWS...

SIMPLY PUT PEOPLE REFUSE TO CONTROL THEMSELVES...

ADDITIONALLY...
Our government places a tarriff on ALL PRODUCTS from other countries that are being sold in this country.  As a result, the foreigh goods are more expensive than American products and that encourages Americans to buy American products.

BECAUSE OF THAT GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION into the free market enterprise system, American Manufacturers do not have to make their products TOP QUALITY...

This was and is still evident in the following industries:
Automotive (including motors)
  1. Computers
  2. Cameras
  3. Electronics
  4. Components
However, the game that we are playing involves all the other countries also placing tarriffs on all their imported goods making their domestic goods cheaper than foreign products...

Consequently...
We cannot drop our tarriffs until they drop their tarriffs...

The one concept that ALL GLOBAL POLITICIANS HAVE IN COMMON IS THAT THEY ALL LIE AND ARE LIARS otherwise they would not be politicians.

Politicians cannot tell the public the truth otherwise they would not get re-elected...
THIS CONCEPT IS THE DOWNFALL OF OUR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC...

North Korea Has Enough Missiles to Defeat US Defenses

North Korea's military displayed enough intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) to defeat America's air defenses on the West Coast, according to satellite images of a martial parade on Wednesday.

North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un organized the parade throughout last week, showing off up to 12 individual Hwasong-17 ICBM launchers. The U.S. has just 44 missile interceptors on America's West Coast, with some stationed in California and others in Alaska, according to Politico.

If the 12 ICBMs carry a payload of four warheads each, they would overwhelm America's prepared defenses, according to the report.

North Korea has struggled to demonstrate the range capability of its ICBMs, however, through the Hwasong-17s are thought to be capable of reaching the U.S. from the country.

NORTH KOREA REPORTEDLY FIRES 130 ARTILLERY ROUNDS, VIOLATING INTER-KOREAN AGREEMENT

Wednesday's military parade in Pyongyang came after Kim disappeared from the public eye for more than a month. He only reappeared during a meeting with his Central Military Commission on Monday. His absence from a Politburo meeting on Sunday raised further speculation regarding his whereabouts.

The country's state-run media reported that Kim and his leaders discussed "constantly expanding and intensifying the operation and combat drills" and "more strictly perfecting the preparedness for war," according to The Associated Press.  READ MORE...

Freedom of Speech

I went to college in the 60s and while I was a cocky SOB, I was also the type of person who said what he wanted to say when he wanted to say it and how he wanted to say it and to whomever he wanted to say it...

Was this an exercise of my FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS or simply because I was this type of person whether or not we had these freedoms???

Hard to say...  but, I will tell you this, I did not give a rat's ass about the Bill of Rights as the Bill of Rights was the last frigging thing on my mind.

  • I was a rebel
  • I was a hippie
  • I liked to drink
  • I liked dating
  • I enjoyed learning
  • I relished the idea of debating concepts with professors and other students

For me, debating was a methodology for teaching yourself by defending your points of view and by being open enough to allow yourself to change your views by listening to the thoughts and opinions of others.

HEARING BOTH SIDES and then using my own mental abilities to decide what I believed or did not believe became just as important to me as beathing, eating, drinking, dating, and raising hell on holidays.

Throughout my life, I have continued to pursue the concept of hearing both sides, until recently when the Democrats have tried to censor out the conservative points of view because it conflicts with the narrative that they want to spin...

This pisses me off and insults my intelligence.

TODAY, I learned that our FEDERAL GOVT put pressure on Twitter to censor COVID information that disagreed with Fouci's opinion...  trying to convince the public that Fouci was the only one who was correct about COVID...

That is both dangerous and stupid...  and, I am beginning to dislike the Democrats more and more and the media outlets like ABC, NBC, CBS, and CNN who support their radical agendas...   and they do this by CENSORING INFORMATION so that we only hear one point of view...

Our enemies will take advantage of our stupidity and then it will be too late to do anything about it...
  • We have an outdated Navy
  • We have an outdated Air Force
  • We have an outdate Army

What do you think will happen when a majority of Americans find out about this and become SCARED for their SAFETY and the safety of THEIR CHILDREN...

Assumptions & Perceptions

I can assure you that I am not as dumb or as smart as I may look...  so, what has caused you to make one of those assumptions based upon my photograph?

It is what might be call a gut reaction...  Just like when you walk into a restaurant and immediately you just don't feel comfortable inside that building...  there is something telling you to leave...  so you do...

We form opinions of people like this and those opinions typically never change as long as we know and/or are around that person.  Our opinions don't change even when we find out our opinions are wrong.  There is just something inside each of us to keeps us from changing our minds.

What makes this really interesting is when we form these impressions are our children and/or our spouses.  Those perceptions can cause us to like one child better than the other child...  and, those perceptions can cause us to get a divorce when in reality there was no reason for a divorce at all...  it's just that you could not shake that perception and you had to get out.

Divorces are emotionally draining, change our behavors, and make us cautious about ever getting close to another person again.  They can also be financially devastating.

However, for the last decade or so, the divorce rate in the USA has remained steady at 50%...  one out of every two marriage will FAIL...   those odds are like flipping a coin.

There is no telling the psychological impact that divorce has on children...  that impact of course is relative to their ages...  but, the impact NEVER GOES AWAY...  and contributes to their perceptions as to how their view others...  and, they will always view males and females differently, depending upon whether they side with the father or the mother.

Not Even An Amateur Chef Am I

My wife decided that when she retired at age 62 in 2015, that she was no longer cooking us meals except at Thanksgiving and Christmas...  that if I wanted to continue to eat, that I was going to have to cook for myself...  obviously, that is what I did...

Since 2015, I have made and cooked:

  • Soups
  • Spaghetti Sauce w/noodle
  • Lansagna
  • Cakes & Pies
  • Cookies
  • Coffee Cakes
  • Granola
  • Stuffed Peppers & Potatoes

There might be more general areas but I have temporarily had a brain freeze and cannot remember.

Recently I had an idea of trying to make a fully loaded Hotdog soup.
  • A can of diced potatoes
  • 2 hotdogs
  • Dijon Mustard
  • Sweet Pickles
  • Onions
  • Chili Powder
  • Shredded Cheese
Cut it up, put into pot, cooked to soften then blended it up with a Ninja submersible blender and added the cheese and let it simmer for about 30 more minutes.

It tasted just like I was eating a hotdog...

My next thought was...   would it be possible to freeze the soup...  then remove all the water...  what I had left would be a powder...  then add that to water and recreate the soup???

My next food soup will be a cheeseburger soup with ketchup, mayo, bacon, lettuce, tomatoe, and an onion.

If I ever do try that, I will let you know how it turns out...

Because of Time

The speed of light is 186,000 miles per second...   and, according to Albert Einstein and other theoretical physicists, nothing is faster than the speed of light because if there was, then the passing of time would not exist.  In other words there would be no time.

There would be NO PAST...   NO PRESENT...   NO FUTURE...

Thinking about that just blows my mind...

But, thinking about the past, present, and future blows my mind as well...  because after the passing of every second or every nanosecond, my present is now my past, and my present has become my future.  Although I cannot prove that my present went into my past unless I take a photo every second or nanosecond and show the difference.

Just thinking about that HURTS...

Another concept that rouses suspicions in my mind is how slow or how fast time passes, depending upon the situation one is in...

For example, one's first kiss did not last long at all or the first time you made love to someone.  However, the time that you spend at the dentist seems to be an eternity...  when in reality, all three times might have been the same.

One concept is painfully obvious and that is that time moves faster or seems to move faster, the older one gets.

"I cannot believe this month (or year) has passed by so quickly."

How often have you heard someone make that comment...  and, you really have not thought much about it, until you hear a comment like that...  which is even weirder...   although, that's really not a word, is it?  Did you check?

When one is busy, time seems to move faster than when one is not busy...  hence the following statement...   The Idle Mind is the Devil's Workshop

We also know that the passing of time changes:
  • our physical appearance
  • our physical abilities
  • our sexual abilities/interests
  • our mental abilities
  • our cordination abilities

When we are young, we don't think about what all is going to happen to us when we get older...  but, when we are older, we constantly think about what life was like for us when we were young.

THIS IS ALL BECAUSE OF TIME

Black History Month in the USA

February is Black History Month The Library of Congress, National Archives and Records Administration, National Endowment for the Humanities, National Gallery of Art, National Park Service, Smithsonian Institution and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum join in paying tribute to the generations of African Americans who struggled with adversity to achieve full citizenship in American society.

As a 75 year old WHITE VETERAN...  the very last thing that I want to do is celebrate black history, especially for a whole frigging month, and most especially because the BLM movement, the WOKE theory movement, and the CRT movement have pretty much pissed me off big time towards the entire black communities here in the US of A.  60% of the population is pandering to 12% of the population because WHITE and now black cops have killed black males...  and, you can also kiss my ass about slavery because I had frigging nothing to do with that and I'll be damned if I will be made to feel quilty because my ancesters may have been involved.  I don't give a damn about the Civil War or the frigging confederate flag, even though I was born in the south.

If we are going to have a black history month, then I think it is only fair that we first have a NATIVE AMERICAN HISTORY MONTH since these people were here long before either whites or blacks.

I also think it is only fair that we also have a/an:
  1. Alaskan Native History Month
  2. Native Hawaiian History Month
  3. Asian History Month
  4. Hispanic History Month
  5. Mexican History Month
  6. Irish History Month
  7. Italian History Month
  8. German History Month
  9. Chinese History Month
  10. Scottish History Month

So...  if you add all of these up, then we have 12 categories...  and could celebrate a different history during the year...

Additionally...  I believe that each one of these groups should have a cultural center built on every college campuse throughout the entire US of A and that these centers be constructed using tax payers dollars...

Finally...  we should find one key figure representing each of these ethnic groups, similar to MLK Jr. and make each one of these not just a national hero, but pass a bill giving each of them a FEDERAL HOLIDAY...

As you can see CAUCASIAN AMERICANS are not listed nor are they associated with any of these recommendations...  The American Whites have taken enough from this country...  and, it is time that we honor those who are the backbone of the wonderous country, not just the wealthy who built all of our industries.

Destruction of White American Economy

A self-identified "Pan-Africanist" professor, said that White capitalist America needed to be dismantled and called the stock market "racist."

Melina Abdullah (photo above) is a professor of Pan-African Studies at California State University. Her role in academia is "intrinsically linked to broader struggles for the liberation of oppressed people." She co-founded and is active in the Los Angeles Black Lives Matter chapter and is currently suing the national branch for allegedly siphoning off $10 million for a personal consulting agency.

Abdullah believes that capitalism needs to be dismantled and said that it was designed to oppress Black people.

"When we feed capitalism, we feed racism," she said in a 2020 interview on the Uproxx podcast 'People's Party With Talib Kweli.' Abdullah has also claimed that "white capitalism feeds itself through the exploitation of Africa and Black people."
