Reminiscing

When I was in high school (graduated 1966), my parents wanted me to attend college more than I wanted to attend college.

Not wanting to get into a losing argument with them, I simply followed their urging which I did not take as advice but as an ultimatum.

I attended a small four-year college in North Carolina and two and half years later, I left college and enlisted in the military, instead of getting drafted and being sent to Vietnam.

That decision was one of the best decisions I made in hindsight...  I hated the military so bad, that I could not wait to leave and return to college.  The GI Bill, because of being a Vietnam veteran, completely paid for my last two years of college and all of my graduate school except for $500.

I completed SIX YEARS of higher education, was awarded two degrees and have NO SCHOOL DEBT.

It is for this reason that my choice to leave college and enter the military was a good one.

After working for 45 years in several jobs, none of which offered a pension program, I retired in 2015 relying only on Social Security & Medicare & my savings to pay my monthly expenses until my life ends whenever that happens.

I am not wealthy nor am I poor; I consider myself to be in the lower middle class and my wife and I are living comfortably, wanting for nothing, in East Tennessee.

Fortunately, my wife and I, have the desire to live a simple lifestyle which includes paying our bills, going out to dinner once or twice a week, going on two weeklong vacations each year and buying whatever clothes we think we need or paying all of our out-of-pocket medical expenses.

We buy year old vehicles that have been leased with low mileage.  They are almost new cars with a full warranty.  Our vehicles are ONLY Toyotas because of the quality and resale value.

Neither my wife nor I smoke cigarettes, use illegal drugs, or drink alcohol to relax or enjoy our vacations.  We eat healthy foods only, which does not include red meats, fried foods, or sugars.  We used to walk 1-2 miles a day, seven days a week, but other medical conditions have prevented us from doing that regularly.

We are not ROLE MODELS.  We are simply two senior citizens who have decided to live a certain way and feel very comfortable with that decision.  As mentioned, we want for nothing and have savings to last us until we die, leaving the remainder for our children.

WE PLANNED FOR THIS TO HAPPEN AND MADE SURE WE EXECUTED THAT PLAN...

40s Through 50s - Our Bodies Change

For many people, reaching their mid-40s may bring unpleasant signs the body isn’t working as well as it once did. Injuries seem to happen more frequently. Muscles may feel weaker.

A new study, published Wednesday in Nature Aging, shows what may be causing the physical decline. Researchers have found that molecules and microorganisms both inside and outside our bodies are going through dramatic changes, first at about age 44 and then again when we hit 60.

Those alterations may be causing significant differences in cardiovascular health and immune function.        READ MORE...

What to Expect...

We have a decision to make in November of the year, perhaps earlier if you decide to participate in early voting.

It is true (regardless of its validity) that Trump is a convicted felon who will more than likely be sentenced to prison in a few days.  Ignore the fact that the VERDICT will be overturned by an APPEALS court because that will happen after the election.

It is also true that Kamala Harris was the first Democratic candidate to drop out of the primary race in 2020 because the Democratic Party DID NOT WANT HER.  It is true that she got the position solely because Biden dropped out of the race under pressure from the Democratic Party.

FORGET the pros and cons of the VP choices because VPs are useless as TEATS ON A BOAR HOG...

These are the main issues that the AMERICAN PUBLIC MUST deal with regarding this election.

  • First - Are you worried that China is willing to do whatever it needs to in order to replace the USA as LEADER of the world?
  • Second - Are you worried that Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, the Middle East, BRICS, and other countries will do whatever it needs to in order to economically destroy the USA?
  • Third - If you want higher TAXES, regardless of what the Democrats say, they have no choice but to raise TAXES to pay for their socialistic programs.
  • Fourth - Do you believe that buying gasoline for your personal vehicle should stop and that we should stop drilling for oil and if we need oil buy oil from countries who HATE US?
  • Sixth - Do you believe that the USA should go GREEN even when 75% of the rest of the world is not going GREEN at all and has no plans to go GREEN because of the money it will cost them?
  • Seventh - Do you believe that RACISM in the USA should continue by supporting WOKE, DEI, and CRT?
  • Eighth - Do you believe that our Federal Government should do what it needs to do in order to REDUCE our NATIONAL DEBT?
  • Nineth - Do you believe in SOCIALISM or CAPITALISM?
  • Tenth - Do you think ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION should continue and that ALL ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS should be automatically given CITIZENSHIP?

These TEN QUESTIONS are at the heart of the 2024 election.  It is a simple decision that Americans must make.  These TEN QUESTIONS are the heart of the Democrat or Republican policies and are directly opposed to each other.

YOUR VOTE WILL DECIDE ONCE AND FOR ALL INTO WHICH DIRECTION THE USA WILL MOVE...

THEN YOU MUST BE WILLING TO LIVE WITH THE CONSEQUENCES OF YOUR CHOICE...

THIS ELECTION IS NOT ABOUT PEOPLE IT IS ABOUT POLICIES...  YOU MUST FORGET ABOUT BASINJG YOUR DECISION ON PEOPLE...

Teleporting LIGHT

Teleportation has always been one of the activities that has only been reserved for the futuristic stories in movies. However, this unbelievable idea has recently become possible with the discovery of quantum physics. Researchers at the Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO) in Barcelona have achieved a groundbreaking feat: the prospect of sending photons carrying information from one place to another material-state qubit.

This unprecedented accomplishment demonstrates the ability to share information in real time and opens the door for future quantum networks and new horizons of communication and computing. Although this process was described as going faster than the speed of light, which is only a metaphor, the real breakthrough is the ability to teleport quantum states and the advantages that come with it.

The fundamental elements of quantum entanglement and information transfer
The dependency of Quantum Teleportation is based on quantum strongest matches– one of the advances of quantum mechanics. Every time, two of these particles are brought close together. These two are entangled as two partners in one couple, and anything that happens to the first of these two will at once affect the second of them, however far apart the two may be.

Hollywood Celebrities

RECENTLY...

I have heard that a few Hollywood celebrities are going to do something terrible, if Trump wins the Presidency like:

  • set themselves on fire
  • shoot themselves in the head
  • drive their car off a cliff
  • leave the USA for Canada or Europe

My first reaction is::::>   WHO CARES???

But, the more I think about it, the more childish is their response but more than just childish, it is frigging immature...  and if it is immature how can anyone hold these people in HIGH ESTEEM.

I also think it is childish and immature to try and barter your celebrity status into a verbal weapon in the hopes of getting one's fans to stop you from doing what you claim that you are going to do.

This tells me you need...  ATTENTION!!!

Nobody is going to light themselves on fire, or shoot themselves, drive off a cliff in a car, or leave the country because of a Presidential term that is only going to last for FOUR YEARS.

It is actually sad when you think about it that we have GROWN ADULTS who think it is COOL and WISE to act like children or immature adults...  and, what's worse is because they need more attention than they are already getting or not getting as the case may be.

It's a shame these Hollywood celebrities never really grow up...

Humanoid Robots F.02

California-based robotics outfit Figure has today announced its second-generation humanoid robot, which is initially being aimed at production lines in commercial settings, but the company is promising a bipedal butler in our homes in the near future.

Figure was founded in 2022 by entrepreneur Brett Adcock – of Vettery and Archer Aviation – with the aim of bringing a "commercially viable general purpose humanoid robot" to market.

We caught up with Adcock last year, publishing a series of three interview pieces, and have followed the progress of its first robot from first steps to learning and performing tasks to joining BMW's workforce, and then gaining OpenAI chattiness.      READ MORE...

Billy Joel - We Didn't Start The Fire (Historically Accurate Almanac) CO...

Let's Just SUPPOSE...

We are living in historic times people where the liberals are trying to censor the conservatives...

and...

where the liberals are trying to put their political opponent in prison on bogus charges...

and...

where there are over 10,000,000 illegal immigrants in this country already and thousands are continuing to enter the USA illegally...

and...

where humanoid robots with AI will in the next 2-3 years begin replacing American working in most all places of employment...

where the USA economy is on the verge of faltering and the USA government is on the verge of defaulting on the national debt...

and...

where the world because of the:

  • Ukraine/Russia war
  • Hamas & Iran/Israel war
  • China potential invasion of Taiwan
  • Iran & North Korea becoming nuclear powers
  • global hatred of and for the USA

is on the brink of WORLD WAR THREE...

and...

where CHINA wants to remove the USA from its position of global leadership...

that our country (USA) and world as we know it is under enormous pressure and making the WRONG DECISION could be catastrophic for a majority of USA citizens.

This catastrophe could be in the areas of:

  • inflation
  • terrorism
  • wars
  • shortages
  • unemployment
  • racism
  • crime and violence
  • illegal drugs
  • COVID-like sheltering in place

While many of us do not BELIEVE that any of this will actually take place, many experts believe that it will take place but not all at one time.

Can some or all of this impending disaster be PREVENTED???

Yes, it can with the right President.
  • one who is kick-ass
  • one who takes no shit off of foreign leaders
  • one who believes in a strong military
  • once who believes in peace through military force
  • one who believes in the rule of law
  • one who believes in capitalism
  • one who believes in low taxes
  • one who believes in legal immigration

Of course, it does not matter what I think....  it only matters what you think and how you vote in November...
