On Strike in Canada

Quebec public sector workers holding a one-day strike today over lagging contract negotiations with the provincial government say they will be off the job for another three days later this month if a new deal isn’t reached.

Workers represented by four unions say their members will strike again from Nov. 21-23.

Schools, health-care facilities and social services are disrupted today as four unions representing a “common front” of some 420,000 workers protest the province’s latest contract offer.

Speaking my Mind

Every once in a while, I get this wild hair up my ass, that motivates me to write a lot and express my opinions...  today is one of those days, although I don't feel much different than yesterday.

My opinions MEAN NOTHING...  and the reason that mean nothing is because I AM A NOBODY...  therefore, people like me who have opinions will never be recognized...  

SO...  why voice my opinions?

WELL...  because I can...

Yes, it is true that I am retired and have plenty of time on my hands...  and probably need a hobby so I don't waste my time...  but I enjoy writing; I enjoy thinking; I enjoy critiquing; and I enjoy forecasting based upon what I hear or read.

With age comes wisdom and I know that comment is relative because there are many older people that remain STUPID, and age has not helped them one iota.

I grew up in a Democratic family and for a long time voted democratic.  Then I went to grad school and earned an MBA and my beliefs changed from being liberal to being conservative.

• A balanced budget is necessary
• Debt is not always good even for leverage
• Capitalism cannot support socialism indefinitely
• A strong military is necessary
• The needs of the whole outweigh the needs of the few
• There must be economic growth
• Inflation impedes economic growth
• Progress moves best if it moves slowly
• Illegal immigration undermines the economy
• Wars can have positive economic benefits

Liberals want more social programs and those programs cost money which means our taxes increase...  I don't know about you but I don't want to pay higher taxes.

Liberals want to move towards socialism which means all the citizens are taken care of by the government...  this type of society creates laziness...  from a health perspective, it is not good to be lazy until one retires and then one should still be active.

Pursue the arts, painting and sculpture, and reading and writing is good, but those people are typically not physically fit and get sicker quicker as they get older.

Liberals want open borders and while immigrants helped build America into a strong nation, illegal immigrants show they will break the law in order to get what they want...  these illegals are uneducated, have no skills, and speak no English.  They will do more harm than good.  Our nation was built by immigrants who had skills.  Besides, these unskilled immigrants will be the first to lose jobs when robots start replacing jobs.   Then what do we do with all of them?

Liberals think about NOW rather than all the unintended consequences of NOW down the road.

• Biden is Obama's puppet
• Bidenomics are made our lives worse

• Trump will continue to divide the country

So, what do we do as Americans?

Congress is divided as well.

We have inflation

We have a weak economy

We have a weak military

We have illegal immigration

We have the rise of Artificial Intelligence

We have the rise of humanoid robots

We have conflicts that could cause WWIII

We have a war on fossil fuels

We have a HUGE national debt

We have a declining middle class

We have a global war on the US dollar

We have the global economy moving away from USA

We have China declaring it want to lead the world

We have Iran and North Korea about to become nuclear powers

WHO HAS THE ABILITY TO LEAD THE USA???

This song was published in 1967/1968 during the Vietnam War as the band reflects upon the divided country in which they live.  Some favor the war, others did not favor the war.

FORTY-FIVE (45) years later, that line of lyrics highlighted in blue above, is righteously applicable to today's divided nation here in the USA.

It is logically impossible for both sides to either right or wrong...  therefore, the argument is nullified...

How stupid are we not to see this???

What is abundantly clear is that HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF and the reason it repeats itself is that American have learned nothing from history...

So, why do we even teach HISTORY in our Public School Systems???

USA Has History of Terrorism

 During the Vietnam War, the Viet Cong hid in caves and underground tunnels and snuck out at night to kill Americans.

The terrorist group called Hamas hides down in underground tunnels and caves and comes out at night to kill Jews.

In 1776, during our war of independence from Great Britain, the colonists, now referred to as Americans, hid in the wooded areas and snuck out at night to kill the British.

Once we were our own country, we SLAUGHTERED Native Americans (referred to as Indians) in order to show them how much of a BAD ASS we were.  The Indians were greatly outnumbered and Americans could have easily been seen as terrorists, committing atrocities similar to those committed by HAMAS on the Jews.

Ain't it funny how the USA (America) has a history of terrorism but now condemn acts of terrorism by other countries.

In order to defeat a great power by a lesser power, terrorist activities MUST ALWAYS BE EMPLOYED....

Global Power and Control

After World War II, the USA rebuilt Europe and Japan because the USA was the only country not destroyed by the war.  What we did gave us global power and control through LEADERSHIP.

Over the years, we maintained our global power and control but lost our leadership because we tried to force our brand of Democracy on the rest of the world through deceit, bribery, and military intimidation.

Believe it or not, that PISSED the rest of the world off and laid the foundation of global hatred of the USA.

Our leaders did not see this hatred building or if they did, paid no attention to it.

TODAY...

Global leadership has vanished, leaving only POWER and CONTROL.

Our world, CURRENTLY, is good against evil, or those that believe in Democracy and those that believe in Communism.

China, Russia, Iran, India, North Korea, Brazil, and other countries are AGAINST the USA, Great Britain, Europe, Israel, Japan, Australia, and other countries.

China is leading the anti-USA movement with Russia acting as its wingman.  There is no desire for LEADERSHIP, just power and control.  This power and control is coming by building up a strong economy and a strong military with the understanding that the military is purely for intimidation,

China does not want a war as wars deplete resources that take years to rebuild, especially a war where the USA is involved.  China does not want to get involved in a military conflict and experience the same pushback that Russia is experiencing in Ukraine.

China will have power and control over the world through economics, focusing on increasing their GDP with a focus on technology, AI, and humanoid robots.

China believes, in my opinion, that while the USA is focused on green energy, stopping the use of fossil fuels, and providing their citizens with more and more social programs, their financial resources will be spread too thin to build a military or invest in outer space.

China believes that if their strategy works, the USA will be defeated on a global scale and there will be no need for a military confrontation.  

The USA will lose its ability to influence the world with its DEMOCRACY...

Russia Loses 1000 Troops a day in Ukraine

The Ukrainian military on Sunday claimed to have killed nearly 1,000 more Russian soldiers as the conflict in the war-torn country continues.

Russian President Vladimir Putin first began his "special military operation" on Ukraine in February 2022 based on dubious claims of mistreatment of ethnic Russian residents and that the Ukrainian government was being run by Nazis, even though Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is a native Russian speaker of Jewish heritage.

When I saw this article, my first thought was not China, nor was it Iran, nor was it Israel...  it was the United States of America because this is exactly what the Democrats are trying to do to the Republican party....  censor their actions and their comments so that only the Democratic points of view are seen by the general public.

Do you really want to live in a country like CHINA where the government removes the country of Israel from all the maps, so that as you are growing up you never knew that there was a country named ISRAEL...

What if the Democrats removed Donald Trump's name from the list of US Presidents?  And you grew up never knowing that Trump had been President for four years and that the only thing you knew about him was he was indicted for 91 felonies...  all connections to the Presidency had been removed from those indictments.

What if all the stories about illegal immigrants coming across the border from 2020 to 2024 had been removed as well so as far as you knew NO ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS had entered the USA during those 4 years.

What if all the alleged crimes that Hunter Biden may or may not have committed were removed from the records so that as far as you knew, the President's son was squeaky clean.

This kind of censorship takes place routinely in communist and socialist countries all over the world.  Keep the citizens on the government payroll and keep them in the dark and stupid.

 A friend's father once told me when I was 18 years old that, "...life's a bitch and then you die."  I really did not think much of that statement until I got older.

Rambo: First Blood (1982) is about a Vietnam Medal of Honor recipient, who wants no part of violence, until first blood is drawn against him.  Then he retaliates with a vengeance...

I thought of this movie as soon as HAMAS invaded Israel and after first blood was drawn Israel swore revenge with a vengeance.

The rest of the world has called FOWL against Israel...  how dare you retaliate!!!

The global media is full of war crimes against Israel but mentions no war crimes against HAMAS.

Only an idiot would not be able to see the hypocrisy in this statement.

This also reminds me of the war in Vietnam where our own US Congress refused to let the US military do its job because they were afraid of the consequence of the casualties inflicted upon the enemy.  As a result, thousands of Americans DIED.

Whether you are pro-Palestinian, pro-terrorist, pro-Israel, or pro-American, ALL SOCIETIES...  ALL CULTURES...  have a RIGHT to defend themselves against aggression.  If right is taken away, then our world DEVOLVES into chaos...  as people will fight regardless of the geo-political outcomes...

This is the MAIN REASON why our Founding Fathers gave us the FIRST and SECOND amendments to the US Constitution...  sometimes, if you want to be FREE, you have to fight for that FREEDOM.  And, when you fight, you might as well fight to win, otherwise the fight is meaningless.

The exiled crown prince of Iran called out the Biden administration's weak policies after Iran's president issued an ominous warning that Israel's actions in Gaza "may force everyone to act."

THINK ABOUT THIS FOR A MINUTE OR TWO...

IF your family's combined annual income is $75,000, are you more inclined to spend $34,000 or $54,000 for a vehicle?

Logic would dictate $34,000

However, logic is not always applicable to Americans

Millionaires and Billionaires might buy 2 electric vehicles per family but probably not more than that.  So, how many do you think the rest of us will buy?

What we need to take into consideration?

• Married Households
• Married Households with children
• Households who buy or rent homes
• Cost of Utilities
• Cost of Healthcare
• Cost of Food
• Car and Household insurance
• Cost of home maintenance
• Cost of entertainment and recreation

What about Hybrids?

• Cost more than gas vehicles
• Maintenance costs are higher
• Resale values is lower
• $10,000 cost of battery replacement 3-5 years
• Miles per gallon drop on the road versus in town

There are basically FOUR factors that keep me from investing in an electric vehicle...

1. cost of vehicle
2. cost of maintenance
3. time to recharge
4. number or changing stations available

I would think that more of the 100 million households are thinking like me as opposing to thinking they should buy a hybrid or an EV unless they are absolutely FORCED TO BUY ONE...
