What is Sovereignty?

Sovereignty is the bedrock of international relations. The concept lays out basic rules for how countries are allowed to interact with one another. In principle, it means countries get to control what happens inside their borders and can’t interfere in what happens elsewhere. 

This protects countries from being invaded over internal matters.But the concept of sovereignty doesn’t play out perfectly in reality. There are limits to the control a country can exercise over what happens inside its borders. 

In the case of grievous human rights abuses like genocide, many countries argue breaches of sovereignty should be allowed on humanitarian grounds. Meanwhile, dozens of countries around the globe choose to give up a degree of sovereignty to join organizations like the European Union and the World Trade Organization.

Today, as the world grows increasingly interconnected, what constitutes a violation of sovereignty is up for interpretation—and world leaders have to decide how to tackle problems like climate change and terrorism that know no borders.

The WOKE Left

 I joined the us military so that I could protect the freedoms of the united states so that the woke mob could operate freely and with prejudice or discrimination...

And, I would do it again if asked or if needed...  because I believe in freedom that much...

In other words:

• If the US wants to become Socialistic...  that's fine
• If the US wants to become Marxist...  that's fine
• If the US wants to destroy competition...  that's fine
• If the US wants make the wealthy pay...  that's fine

What freedom means is that we have the freedom to become whatever it is that we want to become as long as a majority of the people in this country feel that way...  and, that is also the one FLAW associated with any DEMOCRACY and that is the fact that a DEMOCRACY can VOTE itself out of being a DEMOCRACY any time it wants to...

The other issues here are, at least for me, I am 73 years old, and will probably only live another 20 years or so.  I am not going to have anymore children nor will I have any grandchildren...  so whatever the WOKE mob wants to do, will not impact me or my family.

And, I am too old to give a shit about other families or the children of other family or their children...

My only real concern and I actually have most of that financially covered is INFLATION...

All I really have to worry about financially, economically, educationally, philosophically, or militarily is my wife and I...  SO...  if our government turns socialistic, all that means to me is that they will take more money away from the wealthy and redistribute it to the poor or people like me...  

My healthcare services may suffer a little because everyone's healthcare is going to be free so the ERs in the hospitals are going to be SLAMMED all the time and no doubt people will die in the hallways while they wait for attention.

Another Perspective

I have been told by my Oncologist to get the COVID VACCINE since it is a dead virus that they have used in its creation.  My NP at my Oncologist's office has already gotten the vaccine and says she is still going to wear a face mask and limit her time in public anyway as a new norm....  and, I suppose that my wife and I will also do the same or something similar but I doubt that we ever return to a Cruise Ship.

At the end of March and after having stopped for a year, I agreed to teach a College Class and the requirement is to wear a face mask and stay 6 feet away from students...   Interestingly, I have a couple of team assignments which I am curious to see how they play out.  The class is one that I have taught several times before, but I have changed things around a little, and added a couple of exercises to take the place of other exercises.

However, I am not sure if my wife and I will go on vacation this summer or any other summer even with a COVID VACCINE in hand as there are just still too many ways that disease and viruses can be spread by an ignorant public who think they know best and can do what they want because they are living in a free country.

Those expressions of freedoms will be used to curtail their freedoms... and then what will they do?

DE-unification of America

The last time the USA (America) was TOTALLY UNIFIED was WWII which ended in 1945 or 75 years ago...

Does that shock you?

It should...  because the concept of AMERICA is Unification hence The United States of America...  and, it is important to refer to USA as the USA instead of America is the simple historical fact that there are THREE AMERICAS:

• North America (which includes the USA and Canada)
• Central America
• South America

SO...   when someone refers to America, it could actually refer to any one of those 3 entities...

BUT...  back to unification...

Why are we no longer UNIFIED?

Because of our FREEDOMS...

FREEDOM allows us and actually enables us to be NOT UNIFIED because of our ability and freedom to believe differently than everyone else.

AS A MATTER OF FACT, our freedom has the ability for us to decide that we no longer need our freedoms...

THINK ABOUT THAT for a minute or two.

FREEDOM and DEMOCRACY gives the general public to decide that we no longer need to be a Democracy or need all/any of our freedoms.

How does a country maintain UNITY with this kind of freedom?

In America

If you are a White American, you are a RACIST

If you are a Black American, you are a RACIST

If you are a Native American, you are a RACIST

If you are a Hispanic American, you are a RACIST

If you are a Mexican American, you are a RACIST

If you are a European American, you are a RACIST

We are ALL AMERICANS regardless of COLOR, HERITAGE, TRADITIONS, or CULTURE...  We were either BORN in AMERICA or we became AMERICAN CITIZENS...

We might live in the SOUTH, in the North, in the East, in the West, or in the Middle but we are AMERICANS nonetheless and we will remain AMERICANS until we DIE...



This might PISS PEOPLE OFF but it is the truth and a fact of life...

• We DRESS differently
• We THINK differently
• We BELIEVE differently
• We WORSHIP differently
• We LOVE differently
• We WORK differently
• We RELAX differently
• We EAT differently

                                    and remember how to COMPROMISE....  but, until then we will remain separate and divided and continue to fight each other on the uncommon ground of our differences, forgetting our similarities and that we are all AMERICANS until we die which is exactly how the rest of the world sees us...  and, very much desires to have what we have and what we are now TAKING FOR GRANTED...
