Assassination Attempt

By now everyone should know that there was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump's life at a rally in Pennsylvania over the weekend.

During my lifetime there has only been two other attempts on Presidents in office, Ronald Reagan and John F. Kennedy.  Obviously, Trump was in office, but running for office and the November election.

What does that tell you about the climate here in the greatest country in the world?

Ever since 2015/2016, the Democrats and mainstream media has been bombarding the public day after day with how BAD Donald Trump is and now they are saying he will destroy DEMOCRACY.

Don't you think that the Democrats LIT THE MATCH this time?

What's being said?

  • Some people are saying that the secret service will under-manned and under-supplied.
  • Some are saying that this report is a lie.
  • Some are saying that the secret service did not properly do their job.
  • Some are saying that the Democrats were behind this failed attempt.
  • Some are saying that Trump was protected by the hand of God.

All we have and will have no matter how hard we investigate and dig down into the issues, is SPECULATION.
The shooter is dead - so he cannot make a statement.

My concern is that will this assassination attempt force the DEMOCRATS to back off their hatred of Donald Trump or will it cause them to escalate their rhetoric?
My guess is that there will be some hard core who will publicly state they are upset the shooter missed.   That the only good Donald Trump is a dead Donald Trump.

What does that tell you about their belief in DEMOCRACY???

Time as a Mirage

Time may not be a fundamental element of the universe but rather an illusion emerging from quantum entanglement, a new study suggests.

Time is a thorny problem for physicists; its inconsistent behavior between our best theories of the universe contributes to a deadlock preventing researchers from finding a "theory of everything," or a framework to explain all of the physics in the universe.

But in the new study, researchers suggest they may have found a clue to solving that problem: by making time a consequence of quantum entanglement, the weird connection between two far-apart particles. The team published their findings May 10 in the journal Physical Review A.                            READ MORE...

Defiance

In The NEWS

Alec Baldwin's involuntary manslaughter case dismissed.

A judge in New Mexico threw out Baldwin's involuntary manslaughter charges related to the October 2021 fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the film set of “Rust" (see previous write-up). The judge cited misconduct by police and prosecutors for withholding evidence from the defense as the reason for dismissal. The case cannot be filed again.

Jury deliberations begin in corruption trial of US Sen. Bob Menendez.

The New Jersey Democrat, who is running for reelection as an independent, has been on trial for federal bribery charges since May. His wife, Nadine, was also charged and will begin trial in August due to her battle with cancer. The couple has been accused of accepting bribes from three wealthy businessmen in exchange for influencing deals benefiting the governments of Egypt and Qatar.

Judge tosses out Rudy Giuliani's Chapter 11 bankruptcy case.

A New York judge dismissed former New York Mayor Giuliani's bankruptcy case Friday, clearing the way for two Georgia poll workers to collect $148M in defamation damages. A jury in December held Giuliani liable for falsely claiming the two poll workers committed ballot fraud during the 2020 presidential election.

AT&T says hackers stole data of nearly all US customers.

The call and text message records of 109 million US customers from May 1, 2022, to Oct. 31, 2022, as well as some from Jan. 2, 2023, were exposed. Hackers downloaded the data in April from AT&T's third-party cloud service, the company announced Friday. Roughly 127 million devices are connected to AT&T's network. At least one person has been arrested in connection to the breach.

SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket suffers malfunction for first time since 2016.

The rocket's upper stage encountered an issue that forced it to disintegrate while deploying 20 Starlink satellites in lower-than-intended orbit. The Falcon 9 (see overview) has had over 300 successful launches since its first failure in 2016, when it exploded on the launchpad. The Falcon 9 remains grounded until the Federal Aviation Administration approves SpaceX's investigation into the incident.

New mission sets off to map Titanic wreckage in 3D detail.

An expedition team set sail for the Titanic Friday to capture the most detailed photos of the wreckage site using remotely operated vehicles. The team also seeks to compare how much of the site has changed since their last expedition in 2010. The mission comes a year after five people were killed in the OceanGate submersible accident while on their way to tour the site.

Voting

In my opinion, one of the greatest privileges of being an American citizen is our ability to VOTE.

We vote for our Congresspeople (House/Senate), our President, our State legislatures (State and Local), and we use our RIGHT TO VOTE to elect and unselect people from office.

Now, the Democrats want to give that sacred privilege to ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS who broke our laws to enter this country.

We already give these ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS:

  • free healthcare
  • free housing
  • free education
  • free food
  • free clothes
  • free transportation
Now, we should give them the vote without any questions asked?
At some point-in-time, we need to draw the line and if we continue to give them free stuff to the exclusion of our own citizens, then AMERICANS will REBEL.

Illegal Immigrate bring with them:
  • a desire to break laws to get what they want
  • no proof of skills or abilities
  • no proof of immunization
  • no proof of values or moral standards
  • children to be trafficked
  • aggressive dispositions and behaviors
  • untreated medical/mental conditions

Let them enter the USA legally.

CAST YOUR VOTE INTELLIGENTLY IN NOVEMBER...

X-Shaped Structures in Space

This visualization shows C-shaped and reverse-C-shaped plasma bubbles appearing close together in the ionosphere on Oct. 12, 2020, and Dec. 26, 2021, as observed by NASA’s GOLD mission (Image credit: NASA’s Scientific Visualization Studio)

A NASA satellite has spotted unexpected X- and C-shaped structures in Earth’s ionosphere, the layer of electrified gas in the planet’s atmosphere that allows radio signals to travel over long distances.

The ionosphere is an electrified region of Earth's atmosphere that exists because radiation from the sun strikes the atmosphere. Its density increases during the day as its molecules become electrically charged. That's because sunlight causes electrons to break off of atoms and molecules, creating plasma that enables radio signals to travel over long distances. The ionosphere’s density then falls at night — and that's where GOLD comes in.

NASA's Global-scale Observations of the Limb and Disk (GOLD) mission is a geostationary satellite that has been measuring densities and temperatures in Earth's ionosphere since its launch in October 2018. From its geostationary orbit above the western hemisphere, GOLD was recently studying two dense crests of particles in the ionosphere, located north and south of the equator. As night falls, low-density bubbles appear within these crests that can interfere with radio and GPS signals. However, it's not just the wax and wane of sunshine that affects the ionosphere — the atmospheric layer is also sensitive to solar storms and huge volcanic eruptions, after which the crests can merge to form an X shape.               READ MORE...
