Large or Small Government?

Shorty after 1776...The Federalists, led by Secretary of Treasury Alexander Hamilton, wanted a strong central government, while the Anti-Federalists, led by Secretary of State Thomas Jefferson, advocated states' rights instead of centralized power.

The Federalists became the Democratic Party while the anti-federalists became the Republican Party....  Throughout the years, the Democratic Party accepted a liberal approach to government whereas the Republican Party accepted a conservative approach to government...  which is basically what we have nowadays.  Although, we also have the Independent Party and the Socialist Party.

In the past, let's say prior to 2000, political parties pretended to be middle of the road so that they could get elected and push their liberal or conservative agendas.  That pretty much stopped with Reagan, Clinton, Bush Jr., Obama, and Trump.

Having the government tell you what to do which is what pissed off both the Democrats and the Republicans, has now turned into a battle over how much do you want the federal government to not just control your life, but take care of you.

Taking care of you contains all the FREE STUFF that our government makes available to you, like:

  • Parks and Recreation
  • Public Education
  • Healthcare
  • Public Transportation
  • Unemployment Insurance
  • Social Security

The more STUFF that our government provides for free, the more they have to TAX the citizens.  If the wealthy shelter their money away from TAXES, then the TAX burden falls on the general public.  If the general public cannot supply enough money for the FREE STUFF, then the government BORROWS MONEY or PRINTS MONEY.

Over the years, America has changed from being self-reliant population to becoming a dependent upon the government population.

As a result, our Federal Government has gotten larger and larger which can only yield less efficiency and less effectiveness.  This less effective and less efficient costs the TAXPAYERS more and more money and take more and more time to get things done.

Currently, our NATIONAL DEBT is larger than our country's GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT...  which means we OWE more than we PRODUCE.  Both our political parties are aware of our large debt position but neither wants to do anything about it because it means BUDGET CUTS and no chance of getting RE-ELECTED.

If we print more money, it will DEVALUE the dollar, making it more expensive to buy stuff.  For instance, instead of paying a $1 for something it might cost us $2.  That may not seem like much but what if that amount was $1,000 versus $2,000.  Then, I believe the general public would notice.

WILL YOU VOTE FOR A PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE WHO BOASTS THAT WHEN ELECTED TO OFFICE, HE IS GOING TO REDUCE YOUR HEALTH INSURANCE OR SOCIAL SECURITY OR HANDICAPPED BENEFITS?

2700 Years Old Bronze Shields

A team of archaeologists uncovered three bronze shields and a bronze helmet that were buried under more than 20 feet of castle rubble at the site of Ayanis Castle in eastern Turkey.

The artifacts are roughly 2,700 years old, and decorations on the helmet point towards the discoveries likely being ceremonial gifts offered to a god or royalty.

According to social media posts from Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, archaeologists found the artifacts during excavations of the city of Ayanis, the last and largest city of the Urartu Kingdom, an ancient civilization of Anatolian history.     READ MORE...

General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics

General Relativity
is the basic idea is that instead of being an invisible force that attracts objects to one another, gravity is a curving or warping of space. The more massive an object, the more it warps the space around it.

Quantum mechanics is the study of how matter and light behave at the atomic and subatomic level. It explains how particles can have both wave-like and particle-like characteristics, and how they interact with each other and with electromagnetic radiation.

Many scientists are trying to combine both these concepts to create what they call A THEORY OF EVERYTHING...

If physics controls the large universe and the small universe as well, it can be logically concluded that physics controls them both simultaneously so that they are interdependent upon each other.

It makes a little bit of sense to the non-scientific layman until one looks off into the horizon and sees a clear delineation between the sky and the ground.

By looking at this horizon one can clearly see a line between the two, indicating what is on top and what is on the bottom.  In so doing, one can also see that the sky operates the way the sky does, and the land operates the way the land does, even though the two entities can and often do, influence each other.

Where there is lots of gravity, time moves slower so one might conclude that space seeks out gravity.  Whereas in the quantum world of sub-atomic particles there is electromagnetism which causes an acceleration in these particles as they move closer together, increasing the passing of time in order that atoms and molecules are combined faster.

This horizon line can also be detected when we see solid objects in front of us, but not so much as we feel wind pass by.

Perhaps it is a similar force (seen or unseen) that pulls the quantum world into the general relativity world in which we are currently living, balanced in some kind of suspended animation while we brief exist in spacetime.

Controlling Light

One of the most complex problems scientists face while working with quantum information is ensuring qubits remain protected. This is because every time they reset, measure, or delete even a single qubit, neighboring qubits can be damaged, leading to loss of information.

A new study from the University of Waterloo researchers proposes a solution to this problem. The study authors have devised a way to precisely control the laser light used to manipulate qubits.

They even performed an experiment to perform this almost impossible task. The experiment involved measuring and resetting a trapped ion qubit to a known state without causing any damage or disturbance to adjacent qubits located only a few micrometers away.

“This demonstration has the potential to significantly impact future research in the field, including advancing quantum processors, enhancing speed and capabilities for tasks like quantum simulations in machines that already exist today, and implementing error correction.” the study authors note.         READ MORE...

Television Commercials

Commercials on television are necessary in that they pay for the programs that we, or some of us, want to watch.  The fees that these broadcast networks can charge is predicated upon the number of viewers that watch that particular show.

For instance, FOX NEWS, draws more viewers for news than the other stations like CBS, CNN, ABC, and MSNBC, so FOX can demand more money be paid to them for airing those commercials.

Therefore, broadcast networks are in constant competition with each other to increase their viewership so they can increase their ad revenues.

Even though the recent VP debate was aired on CBS and sold to other networks, more viewers watched the debate on FOX than they did on all the other networks.  Not sure why that happened but it did.

But let's get back to commercials.

Companies that pay broadcast companies to air their commercials, do so for one purpose and one purpose only and that is to sell their products to the viewers of that commercial.

Therefore, these commercials must be clever enough to capture your attention in the hopes that you will retain that information so that when you need a particular product or item, your memory will kick in and prompt you to buy this product because of what you remember.

But not necessarily because it is good or it works, or it provide quality at the lowest possible cost.

Commercials are intentionally designed not to just mislead you or deceive you by not giving you all the facts, but they are designed to GET YOU TO BUY WHAT YOU DON'T REALLY NEED OR WANT.

After you have watched a particular commercial, you might tell yourself, "I think I would like one of those.  Don't really need it, but it would be nice to have, I think."

Once, you start thinking like that, you will no doubt eventually buy the product...  of course, you will also tell your friends and encourage them to have one as well, so you both can play with what you have, if play is what the product was designed for.

Other products will put you in a better position to get the female that you always wanted, or the male.  When in reality that product does not really help at all.

You are left with a product you don't need, never needed actually, don't use anymore and never will, but these companies have your money.

If these companies can sell a million products to unsuspecting customers over and over again, there is no reason why they become extraordinarily wealthy, and you are left with debt because you overspent this month.

Negative Time Found

Quantum physicists are familiar with wonky, seemingly nonsensical phenomena: atoms and molecules sometimes act as particles, sometimes as waves; particles can be connected to one another by a “spooky action at a distance,” even over great distances; and quantum objects can detach themselves from their properties like the Cheshire Cat from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland detaches itself from its grin.

Now researchers led by Daniela Angulo of the University of Toronto have revealed another oddball quantum outcome: photons, wave-particles of light, can spend a negative amount of time zipping through a cloud of chilled atoms. In other words, photons can seem to exit a material before entering it.

“It took a positive amount of time, but our experiment observing that photons can make atoms seem to spend a *negative* amount of time in the excited state is up!” wrote Aephraim Steinberg, a physicist at the University of Toronto, in a post on X (formerly Twitter) about the new study, which was uploaded to the preprint server arXiv.org on September 5 and has not yet been peer-reviewed.     READ MORE...

It's Just Spiritual

In Support of Trans

There are some Trans Women that I think are beautiful, but they are STILL MALES and will always be males even if they take female hormones and cut their penises off.

They also can only have breast implants, although I believe that some of the female hormones might help to grow actual breasts which would make them even more of a freak.

There are some males that like to cross-dress as a female and some of them are really beautiful as well, but they are still males.

I am also aware that once in a while, there is a person born that possess the genitalia of both male and female.  It it difficult to say what they are but I suppose they can choose to either identify as male or as female and either choice would be legitimate.

Perhaps those people could legitimately play either male or female sports or both, but these people are not the norm.  These people are referred to as INTERSEX.  They are primarily located in South Africa for some reason.

Personally, if you want to be a CD or a Trans, then I certainly believe that you have the fundamental and basic right to do so.  I just would prefer not to be a part of your life.  I also believe that trans females should not be allowed to participate in female sports under any circumstances.  However, I do believe they should have their OWN CATEGORY of sports.

I also believe that CHILDREN do not have the mental capability of making a trans decision until much later in life, but I have no idea what they age should be unless it is high school, and maybe middle school but certainly not any lower.  I also believe that the parents should legally be involved in the process.

Again, parents don't always make the right decisions as they are strongly influenced by their preconceived ideas and biases.

A Single Minded Party

The morning after the morning after the morning after the morning after is absolutely no fun at all...  and yet, this is exactly what we have been doing for the last eight years.

SO...

what am I trying to say here?

The Democratic Party, supported by all of mainstream media (except for FOX News) has been systematically trying to DESTROY DONALD TRUMP, his financial empire, and his family and each time the take a few steps forward in that process, events change, and they are pushed back.

It started with the Russian Collusion Hoax and the public finally found out that was a LIE...  then the congress tried to impeach him and failed...  Then, the courts tried to convict him of felonies and for the most part failed, although a jury did convict him on some bogus charges that will be overturned by a higher court.  Still, Trump could go to prison.

They tried to steal his businesses by having a judge convict him of slander and defamation with a financial burden that no appeals court will accept...  the whole intent was to make sure he could not get his hands on the cash, so NYC could seize assets to sell.

ONE MAN - EIGHT YEARS - STILL STANDING - STILL FIGHTING - STILL BEING ATTACKED...

So, the morning after the morning after analogy is fairly accurate.

I am not a judicial scholar but there are scholars who oppose each other about Trump...  some support him while others do not...  WHICH JUDICIAL SCHOLAR IS CORRECT?  The one who was awarded their PhD first?

I am writing this not because I like Trump and not because I voted for Trump and not because I think Trump is complete innocent...

I am writing this because of my country's treatment towards one man is SIMPLY WRONG.

Along with me, there are several people who are beginning to pull away from the Democratic Party because they no longer agree with their tactics.

WHO ARE THE GOING AFTER ONCE TRUMP IS NO LONGER A THREAT TO THEM???

Largest solar flare since 2017 spotted erupting from sun's surface.

Solar flares are bursts of radiation coming from sunspots and can potentially disrupt some telecommunications systems and power grids. They are often accompanied by coronal mass ejections—bursts of plasma and magnetic field lines coming from the sun's corona (see overview)—that erupt from an active sunspot.

Our Spiritual Creator(s)

Sunday has always been a religious day for me, and to some extent, it still is, just not the way the rest of the religious world perceives it to be.

I am not convinced that CHRISTIANITY is the only religion in which to believe.  It is a myth and like all mythologies it has it roots in TRUTH.  It is this truth that does not hold up under scrutiny.

HOWEVER, what does hold up for me is the mythology of a CREATOR.

Now, while I believe that earth has a creator of sorts, I am still doubtful as to a creator of our UNIVERSE.

According to our laws of physics, matter cannot be created or destroyed but it can be changed from one form to another.  BUT...  this is our physics and our physics may not be accurate when it comes to the creation of the universe.

With that said, I still believe there was a CREATOR.

It is just that this creator is not the God that we worship in the Bible.  Creators don't create to be worshipped.  If they are that powerful, what will worshipping do for them?  Creators create because they can.

My creator would then be seen as an extremely advanced (scientifically) extraterrestrial or alien or space creature if you will.  I also that my creator and a race like my creator visited earth, millions of years ago, maybe before human beings were even around and CREATED US.

My creator visited earth several times in the past manipulating our DNA so that our evolution would be accelerated.  I have no idea why that needed to be done other than because it could be done.

There is nothing wrong with the stories in the Bible nor is there anything wrong with the TEN COMMANDMENTS because it is a damn fine template for any race of people to follow and/or by which to live.

Whatever happens here on earth was meant to happen without any direct involvement from these extraterrestrials because they want to study our evolution.  Why might they want to do this?  Well, with a universe as big as this one obviously is, my guess is that there are OTHER ENTITIES like human persons or maybe not like us at all, with which these extraterrestrials are designing.

Maybe these extraterrestrials look like us maybe they do not - it does not really matter - what matters is that we were created by them for SOME PURPOSE.  This purpose is not our own although we are led to believe that we have FREE WILL.

However, by believing in GOD, we, in essence, give up our FREE WILL, and do exactly what He says we should do, hence Jesus agreeing and/or accepting his role to die on the cross.  Jesus gave up his FREE WILL.

Why give FREE WILL, if you want your created people to give up their FREE WILL voluntarily?

As you can see, I have spent some time in REFLECTION...
