A joint investigation from the specialist outlet NK Pro and the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation at the Middlebury Institute found that a decades-old building near Pyongyang was the location of a secret manufacturing operation of transporter erector launchers (TELs).

It is thought that the production had been ongoing since November 2023, or possibly even earlier.

The launchers are believed to be designed for Hwasong-11D short-range ballistic missiles (SRBM) because they measure around 8.5 meters in length and 3 meters in width, according to the outlet.

Satellite imagery from Planet Labs reportedly shows around 49 thought-to-be TELs parked on a sports field at the Pyongyang building between November 8 and 9 last year. Some were reportedly removed about a week later, but 45 remained and weren't moved until early March. Some other vehicles spotted adjacent to the building were also moved in April.

No further possible TEL sightings were visible on the imagery, but the outlet noted there were long narrow objects laid out across several areas, suggesting the facility may still in have been use in June.                  READ MORE...

Expert Opinions

 

I remember when I worked in the education industry, if you received your PhD prior to someone else, then your opinion was supported over another PhD.

This process negates the Truth...  or, to pacify both sides, it could negate the truth.

Now...

we have liberal economists and conservative economists who present their opinions as to the way our economy should evolve, always supporting party views over the opposing party's views.

SO...  

who is correct?

SO...

who is telling the truth?

SO...

who do we believe?

We, the general public have little to no economic knowledge and/or experience therefore we must rely on EXPERTS to advise us as to what we should think.

How do we know...  I mean really know what to believe if these expert economists may or may not be telling us the truth but just following the pressures exerted by their parties?

We don't know for sure, do we?

Some economic experts say that the government should spend money to stimulate the economy while other economic experts say that when the government spends money to stimulate the economy, that it only serves to stimulate INFLATION.

Do we believe the PhD who received their degree the earliest?

Do we believe the PhD whose message sounds logical and makes sense?

Do we believe the liberal expert economist, or do we believe the conservative expert economist?

And then what happens if we are wrong and have to wait another four years before we can make change???

How do we protect ourselves from being played the IGNORANT FOOL...

The HIGGS Particle Keeps us Here

Although our universe may seem stable, having existed for a whopping 13.7 billion years, several experiments suggest that it is at risk—walking on the edge of a very dangerous cliff. And it's all down to the instability of a single fundamental particle: the Higgs boson.


In new research by me and my colleagues, just accepted for publication in Physical Letters B, we show that some models of the early universe, those which involve objects called light primordial black holes, are unlikely to be right because they would have triggered the Higgs boson to end the cosmos by now.

The Higgs boson is responsible for the mass and interactions of all the particles we know of. That's because particle masses are a consequence of elementary particles interacting with a field, dubbed the Higgs field. When I was in high school (graduated 1966), my parents wanted me to attend college more than I wanted to attend college.

Not wanting to get into a losing argument with them, I simply followed their urging which I did not take as advice but as an ultimatum.

I attended a small four-year college in North Carolina and two and half years later, I left college and enlisted in the military, instead of getting drafted and being sent to Vietnam.

That decision was one of the best decisions I made in hindsight...  I hated the military so bad, that I could not wait to leave and return to college.  The GI Bill, because of being a Vietnam veteran, completely paid for my last two years of college and all of my graduate school except for $500.

I completed SIX YEARS of higher education, was awarded two degrees and have NO SCHOOL DEBT.

It is for this reason that my choice to leave college and enter the military was a good one.

After working for 45 years in several jobs, none of which offered a pension program, I retired in 2015 relying only on Social Security & Medicare & my savings to pay my monthly expenses until my life ends whenever that happens.

I am not wealthy nor am I poor; I consider myself to be in the lower middle class and my wife and I are living comfortably, wanting for nothing, in East Tennessee.

Fortunately, my wife and I, have the desire to live a simple lifestyle which includes paying our bills, going out to dinner once or twice a week, going on two weeklong vacations each year and buying whatever clothes we think we need or paying all of our out-of-pocket medical expenses.

We buy year old vehicles that have been leased with low mileage.  They are almost new cars with a full warranty.  Our vehicles are ONLY Toyotas because of the quality and resale value.

Neither my wife nor I smoke cigarettes, use illegal drugs, or drink alcohol to relax or enjoy our vacations.  We eat healthy foods only, which does not include red meats, fried foods, or sugars.  We used to walk 1-2 miles a day, seven days a week, but other medical conditions have prevented us from doing that regularly.

We are not ROLE MODELS.  We are simply two senior citizens who have decided to live a certain way and feel very comfortable with that decision.  As mentioned, we want for nothing and have savings to last us until we die, leaving the remainder for our children.

WE PLANNED FOR THIS TO HAPPEN AND MADE SURE WE EXECUTED THAT PLAN...

A new study, published Wednesday in Nature Aging, shows what may be causing the physical decline. Researchers have found that molecules and microorganisms both inside and outside our bodies are going through dramatic changes, first at about age 44 and then again when we hit 60.
