Robot Dog Becomes Tour Guide
We saw Spot run, jump, and even dance... but now we can see Spot talk. In a somewhat unsettling video posted by Boston Dynamics, we see its robot dog outfitted with a top hat, mustache, and googly eyes as it chats with staff members in a British accent, taking them on a tour of the company’s facilities.
“Shall we commence our journey?” Spot asks. “The charging stations, where Spot robots rest and recharge, is our first point of interest. Follow me, gentlemen.” As shown in the demo, Spot is capable of answering questions and even opens its “mouth” to make it seem like it’s actually speaking. READ MORE...

Electron Charge Within Millisecond Coherence Time
A team led by the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Argonne National Laboratory has achieved a major milestone toward future quantum computing. They have extended the coherence time for their novel type of qubit to an impressive 0.1 milliseconds—nearly a thousand times better than the previous record.
Cannabis Compound Found
Scientists have discovered cannabidiol, a compound in cannabis known as CBD, in a common Brazilian plant, opening potential new avenues to produce the increasingly popular substance.
The team found CBD in the fruits and flowers of a plant known as Trema micrantha blume, a shrub which grows across much of the South American country and is often considered a weed, molecular biologist Rodrigo Moura Neto of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro told AFP in June. READ MORE...

WD - 40
>> What Is The Main Ingredient of WD-40?
>> Before you read to the end, does anybody know what the main ingredient of WD-40?
>> No Cheating.....
>> WD-40 ~ Who knew!
>> I had a neighbour who bought a new pickup.
>> I got up very early one Sunday morning and saw that someone had spray
>> painted red all around the sides of this beige truck (for some unknown
>> reason).
>> I went over, woke him up, and told him the bad news.
>> He was very upset and was trying to figure out what to do ....
>> probably nothing until Monday morning, since nothing was open.
>> Another neighbour came out and told him to get his WD-40 and clean it off.
>> It removed the unwanted paint beautifully and did not harm his paint
>> job that was on the truck. I was impressed!
>> WD-40 who knew?
>> "Water Displacement #40".
>> The product began from a search for a rust preventative solvent and
>> degreaser to protect missile parts.
>> WD-40 was created in 1953, by three technicians at the San Diego
>> Rocket Chemical Company.
>> Its name comes from the project that was to find a 'Water
>> Displacement' Compound.
>> They were finally successful for a formulation, with their fortieth
>> attempt, thus WD-40. The 'Convair Company' bought it in bulk to
>> protect their atlas missile parts.
>> Ken East (one of the original founders) says there is nothing in WD-40
>> that would hurt you.
>> When you read the 'shower door' part, try it. It's the first thing
>> that has ever cleaned that spotty shower door. If yours is plastic,
>> it works just as well as on glass. It's a miracle!
>> Then try it on your stove-top.
>> It's now shinier than it's ever been.
>> You'll be amazed.
>> WD-40 Uses:
>> 1. Protects silver from tarnishing.

Halloween
What is the significance of HALLOWEEN?
I don't know and I don't care when TRICK OR TREAT was added but I am glad that this practice is fading away.
People are really cruel and mentally misguided when they hide things in the candy that can hurt children. Most parents only take children to a few houses that they know the owners.
The other aspect of that, equally as negative, is all the candy that children ingest on that night. That cannot be good for their health, especially their teeth.
Costumes are another ridiculous expense that some people have and many of those less intelligent people spend hundreds of dollars on their costumes just to wear at work for one day, not the mention the outside decorations that some people like to put up.
Many Christian families will not let their children celebrate Halloween because it is a PAGAN celebration not a Christian one. That also seems kind of silly to me as well, because kids aren't trying to change their beliefs, they are just trying to have a little fun.
Ancient Landscape Beneath Antartica
Formed close to 34 million years ago, the East Antarctic Ice Sheet (EAIS) has seen significant change over the course of the last several geological epochs, with its ancient ice retreating and advancing like the ebb and flow of ocean tides, resulting in variations in ice coverage that have altered the Antarctic landscape. They Are Not Happy
They're not happy in Gaza ..
They're not happy in Egypt ..
They're not happy in Libya ..
They're not happy in Morocco ..
They're not happy in Iran ..
They're not happy in Iraq ..
They're not happy in Yemen ...
They're not happy in Afghanistan ...
They're not happy in Pakistan ..
They're not happy in Syria ..
They're not happy in Lebanon ...
SO.. WHERE ARE THEY HAPPY?
They're happy in Australia ..
They're happy in Canada ..
They're happy in England ..
They're happy in France ..
They're happy in Italy ..
They're happy in Germany ..
They're happy in Sweden ..
They're happy in the USA ..
They're happy in Norway ..
They're happy in Holland ..
They're happy in Denmark ..
Basically, they're happy in every country that is not Muslim and unhappy in every country that is!
AND WHO DO THEY BLAME?
Not Islam ..
Not their leadership ..
Not themselves ..
THEY BLAME THE COUNTRIES THEY ARE HAPPY IN !
AND THEN- They want to change those countries to be like, THE COUNTRY THEY CAME FROM WHERE THEY WERE UNHAPPY!
Excuse me, but I can't help wondering...
How frigging dumb can you get?
Everyone seems to be wondering why Muslim Terrorists are so quick to commit suicide.
Lets have a look at the evidence:
- No Christmas
- No television
- No nude women
- No football
- No pork chops
- No hot dogs
- No burgers
- No beer
- No bacon
- Rags for clothes
- Towels for hats
- Constant wailing from some bloke in a tower
- More than one wife
- More than one mother-in-law
- You can't shave
- Your wife can't shave
- You can't wash off the smell of donkeys
- You cook over burning camel shit
- Your wife is picked by someone else for you
- and your wife smells worse than your donkey
- Then they tell them that "when they die, it all gets better"???
Well No Shit Sherlock!
It's not like it could get much worse!
Blob Outside of Space Station
Cosmonauts on board the International Space Station (ISS) conducted a spacewalk in order to fix a leaking radiator on Wednesday.
The leak, confirmed earlier this month by Russian space agency Roscosmos, came from the backup radiator mounted on the outside of the Nauka module launched in 2021. The main radiator remains operational, but Rosmocos scheduled in a spacewalk to fix the problem.
Inspecting the source of the leak, Oleg Kononenko reported seeing a number of holes on the radiator panel.
"The holes have very even edges, like they've been drilled through," Kononenko told Moscow Mission Control, Space.com reports. "There are lots of them. They are spread in a chaotic manner."
The cosmonauts were equipped with a cloth towel to soak up any escaping liquid, but Kononenko was told to leave the area immediately after encountering a blob of coolant, which had moved onto his safety tether. READ MORE...

Software Updates Millions of Miles Away
About 46 years after NASA's Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 launched on an epic journey to explore space, the probes’ antique hardware continues to receive tweaks from afar.
One update, a software fix, ought to tend to the corrupted data that Voyager 1 began transmitting last year, and another set aims to prevent gunk from building up in both spacecraft's thrusters. Together, these updates intend to keep the spacecraft in contact with Earth for as long as possible.
"This far into the mission, the engineering team is being faced with a lot of challenges for which we just don’t have a playbook," Linda Spilker, project scientist for the mission at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, said in a statement. "But they continue to come up with creative solutions." READ MORE...

Sperm Breaks Law of Motion
The laws of physics have been broken (or appear to have been broken) by all manner of things, from balancing rocks to Seinfeld’s apartment, and now, by human sperm. The latest law-breakers defy Newton's third law of motion, distorting their bodies as they swim in a way that elicits no response from their surroundings.
Newton's third law states that when one object exerts a force on a second object, the second object exerts an equal and opposite force back. In other words, “for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction”. However, for biological swimmers such as sperm, this may not be the case. READ MORE...
