Emotional Intelligence
Most people think they are better judges of character than everyone else. (Of course, that statement is statistically impossible — read it again.) For years scholars cast doubt on this notion, regarding perceptivity as more a learned skill than a natural ability. However, recent research into what is called “the good judge” of character suggests that some people do have an advantage in this area. One 2019 study found “consistent, clear, and strong evidence that the good judge does exist” — in other words, some people are indeed better than others at judging personality.
My own experience bears out this finding. Over my two decades of working with leaders across industries as wide-ranging as private equity, apparel, health care, and agribusiness, I’ve found that some people are extraordinarily adept at judging others, but these individuals are few and far between. The vast majority of professionals think their judgment of others’ personalities is accurate. In truth, they fall prey to a whole range of biases that skew how they size people up and in turn lead to horrible decision-making. READ MORE...

Social Justice
Social justice refers to a political and philosophical theory that focuses on the concept of fairness in relations between individuals in society and equal access to wealth, opportunities, and social privileges.
The five main principles of social justice include:
- access to resources
- equity
- participation
- diversity
- human rights
SOCIAL JUSTICE implies that American Caucasians are privileged and have always had and will continue to have the advantage over all other minorities because all of the founding father were Caucasian and owned slaves...
Is this correct or incorrect?
Is this truth or not truth?
What I don't understand is the fact that there are many multimillionaires who are BLACK and earned their wealth in professional sports, professional music, professional actors/actresses, business owners, entrepreneurs, politicians, news anchors, college and university professors, and a plethera of publicly elected officials.
We already have social justice here in America, it is just that some BLACK do not have what it takes to be successful and financially wealthy... the same holds true for caucasians and other minorities... it is a personality issue not a social justice issue.
Why do so many Americans who are not successful in life commit crime and violence?

Self-Esteem Influences Purchases
Think back to the last time you went out to a restaurant of your choosing for no particular occasion. Where did you choose to go—and why did you choose to go there? For me, it was the McDonald’s drive-through. Although you can practically smell the French fries from the balcony of my apartment, there may have also been a hidden reason that you and I chose to eat where we did: our self-esteem.
Our identity has an undeniably important impact on how we view ourselves and the world around us. A concept from social psychology labeled self-verification theory finds that we prefer that others view us the same way that we view ourselves.
For example, if you view yourself as intelligent, you likely appreciate it when someone compliments you for being a smart person. However, if you view yourself as unintelligent, you may feel uncomfortable and downright awkward when someone calls you clever. In other words, we prefer when others view us similarly to how we view ourselves because it justifies our sense of self.
How we spend our money is hardly any different. When shopping, we will often perform mental gymnastics to convince ourselves that we deserve the product we want. Self-esteem plays a key role here, meaning that people with low self-esteem gravitate towards cheaper, more affordable, and more mundane options.
Even factoring in one’s income or budget and frugality as a personality trait, self-esteem can predict which product participants chose to buy. Research finds that we tend to self-verify in our buying behavior, meaning if we view ourselves as having low self-esteem, we will choose, consciously or unconsciously, to buy things that reinforce our self-view.
In one study, the researchers measured participants’ self-esteem and asked them how willing they would be to dine at two restaurants, one described as “cool” and the other described as “non-cool”. The study revealed that participants with the lowest self-esteem opted for the restaurant described as “non-cool” whereas participants with the highest self-esteem picked the “cool” restaurant. Zodiac Personality Disorders
Every person has a distinct personality and is capable of great things in life. Who they are, where they come from, where they wish to go are some of the factors that shape a person's character and determine what they become.
However, sometimes the things that meet the eye may differ from what actually is. This is when astrology comes in handy. Zodiac signs can reveal a lot about a person's nature and temperament. It can decipher and bring to the forefront the hidden aspects of a person, the traits that are good as well as bad.
That said, given that every person has a positive personality trait, there are certain negative qualities that can cause distinct personality disorders in each person. In respect to that, here are the kind of personality disorders one may experience, according to their zodiac signs.
Besides being impulsive, Aries can also be aggressive. People belonging to this zodiac sign may have sudden bouts of anger and explosive aggression, which may prove disadvantageous for them. Such behaviour can be characteristic of Intermittent Explosive Disorder, where a person has terrifying bursts of anger and aggression, often leading to worst scenarios. READ MORE

Being a Scorpion
Scorpio is my birth zodiac sign... and, if you believe in that nonsense then according to the positive side, I am:
- determined
- brave
- loyal
- honest
- ambitious
However, this negative aspects are:
- jealous
- secretive
- resentful
- controlling
- stubborn
Some might say that these 10 bullet points fit me perfectly while others might say, not at all... Personally, I am not sure if they do or not because I like the sign of Scorpio and don't mind being affiliated with it at all... I can think of worse things that could describe a person and I could easily fall into those other categories as well... I don't perceive myself as anything other than different than most and perhaps that is because according personality traits, I am an INTJ...
