Mom and Dad

If I was a young lad growing up in the USA, I would not be able to refer to my parents as mom and dad or mother and father because those pronouns are gender specific and according to our COUNTER CULTURE culture, those pronouns are no longer appropriate...  At 73 years of age, I find this approach to referencing to parents rather absurd to say the least.  Using the term parents, folks, guardians, or whatever eliminates the intimacy between parents and their children.   Boys and girls are inappropriate as well and we should no longer distinguish between females and males...  but, the fact remains that they are different and will always be different... especially physically.

AND...  since they are physically different, males and females wear different clothes...  and, those clothes in particular is going to differentiate between the two genders.  However, there are a few males who want to be females and exercise that desire by taking female steroids to create breasts or have surgery for implants.  This is their choice...  but, once they have these breasts, can these males now use the female restrooms in public?

What if, a male who wants to be a female, also wants to play female sports...  does his male body give him the advantage over his female teammates?  And if the courts says YES...  he can do this...  what then are the rights for the females who have been put at a disadvantage?

What I Learned From My Parents

First and foremost, my parents taught me to save money...  and, not just whenever possible but to put savings in the budget as a line item so to speak.

Second...  my parents taught me to eat everything on my plate, only order in restaurants that food which you are going to eat...  and, make sure leftovers are eaten before new food is prepared.

Third...  to put my faith in God and to live my life with my Christian Faith in my mind at all times.

Fourth...  never ask anyone to do anything that you could not do better yourself.

Fifth...  give 110% in everything that is done.

Sixth...  follow the Golden Rule:  do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Seventh...  stand by my convictions/integrity regardless of the outcomes and costs.

Eighth...   stay active in that the idle mind is the devil's workshop.

Ninth...  always have an appreciation for THE ARTS.

Tenth...  the knowledge gained from education is power.

My parents raised all of their children with a Democratic Party Focus and for most of my life, I was in fact, a Democrat in my beliefs and with my vote...  but, even since 1990 after I had been able  to use my MBA education for a decade, I was beginning to realize that the Democratic Party was violating many of the TEN POINTS by which we should live our lives.

On the other side of the coin, I did not agree with all of the politics of the Republican Party either and found myself seeing myself as a Conservative Liberal...

I believe the following:
  • every woman has the right to choose if she wants an abortion or not
  • every citizen has the right to own and bear as many firearms as s/he wants
  • every citizen has to right of free speech and/or freedom to worship
  • Every American has the right to have our borders protected from immigration
  • Our government should pay off its debt and not increase it
  • Our government should maintain a globally strong military
  • Our government should unnecessarily tax our corporations and businesses
  • Our government should regulate BIG TECH
  • Our government maintain a TWO PARTY SYSTEM
My parents were Democrats but I am not....  and, I will stand by my convictions and my integrity...  However, our biggest problem in America is the number of wealthy people that we have and the number of poor people that we have and that this gap is getting wider not smaller...  and, as our markets turn global, this divide will worsen...

Our country should have a quality of life for everyone...  BUT...  it is not our FEDERAL GOVERNMENT's responsibility to make sure that this happens...  that is not the role of government...  it is the responsibility of those who control and build our economy...

These leaders of our economy are the ones who LACK COMPASSION and EMPATHY and at the moment don't give a damn about doing anything about it...  They are more interested in profits than in people.

The Justification of Truth

 What is TRUTH?

"that which is true..."  but there is more, "...in accordance with fact or reality."

however:  facts can be manipulated to prove one reality over another...  all we have to do is look inside our courts of law to see how truth really plays out.

And, that is not just me being a tad sarcastic, but an undisputable truth...  as far as truth is concerned.

We are finding out quite ABRUPTLY, I might add as a result of the Black Lives Matter Movement, that the truth recorded in our history books...  those books that are used to teach students in our elementary schools and high school is NOT TELLING THE TRUTH AT ALL ABOUT SLAVERY...  and, this leaves one's mind wondering what other truths are actually LIES...  even though we never tell LIES we just inaccurately report the truth.

If facts about SLAVERY were not true, the what about those facts revolving around:
  • the civil war
  • the killing of Lincoln
  • the wild wild west
  • Native Americans
  • WWI and WWII
It does leaves one wondering how our AMERICAN LEADERS JUSTIFY THEIR TRUTHS...  especially politics, since the nature of politics was born out of the gutters of our city streets.

Should we now question the TRUTH about our:
  1. History
  2. Politics
  3. Voting
  4. Business
  5. Wars
  6. Religions
  7. Education
  8. Healthcare
  9. Pharmaceuticals
  10. UFO's and Aliens
I know FOR A FACT (Reality) that my parents LIED to me when I was a child...  so, I lied when I became an adult as my parents were my teachers and were the most influential in and on my life...  but, that does not justify what they or I did...  now does it?

A lie is still a lie...

HOWEVER, some of believe that we are not lying, if we simply WITHHOLD THE TRUTH...

AND...  you would not believe the various justifications on this one...
