The Arrogant USA

The United States of America became a sovereign nation in 1776 after declaring their independence from Great Britain.  Shortly thereafter, the USA made two critical mistakes as a new nation.  First, they purchased slaves from Africa that were being sold by traders.  Second, they decided to take the land away from Native Americans who were living there long before they arrived.

The United States of America was settled by WHITE ANGLOSAXON PROTESTANT who valued their religious freedoms so much so that they wanted EVERYONE to be like them in their beliefs.

What a bunch of arrogant assholes we were...

The United States of America was loaded with natural resources and rich farmland that was not always available in places throughout the rest of the world.  Consequently, tradespeople from Europe immigrated to the USA and created the dominate economy that was admired by the rest of the world.

However, since we were a bunch of arrogant assholes, we attempted to force our way of life on the rest of the world, completely ignoring their cultures and lifestyles.  The result was that the rest of the world developed a strong animosity against the USA and its citizens.

That global dominance is about to be destroyed...  YES... by our arrogance but also because the rest of the world got tired of our bullshit, especially CHINA, RUSSIA, and the MIDDLE EAST.  Along with this push against the USA from the rest of the global community, American Blacks have also decided that they have had enough of WHITE SUPREMACY and are rebelling all across the country.

American Blacks face one huge obstacle and that is that there are simply MORE WHITES than BLACKS, therefore whites will always be seen as supreme.  There are simply not enough blacks around to level the playing field no matter how many laws they try to pass with their bitching.

Whites represent 60%

Blacks represent 12%

Additionally, Blacks have more abortions than whites which suppresses their population and with all this immigration coming into the USA, Hispanics and Asians will both have larger populations than Blacks...  and will begin to occupy more and more positions of power, further pushing the blacks down on the socioeconomic ladder.

While all of this internal shit is going on, the general population of the USA is moving closer and closer to SOCIALISM that will only offer a temporary equalization of power and money.  In order to make SOCIALISM work, money must be taken from the wealthy or from other programs like the military, education, social security, and healthcare.

I doubt many MILLIONAIRES and BILLIONAIRES will be voluntarily sharing the money that they worked hard to acquire.

I also doubt that many businesses and corporations would let themselves be nationalized by the Federal Government and give up control...  but, one never knows...

In the meantime, CHINA has declared that they want to take the global leadership position away from the United States of America.

US Money Supply

It's been 90 years since M2 money supply has contracted by at least 2%.

Who needs a theme park when you have Wall Street. Over the trailing two years, we've watched the ageless Dow Jones Industrial Average (^DJI), widely followed S&P 500 (^GSPC 0.12%), and growth-dominated Nasdaq Composite (^IXIC), roar to new all-time highs, plunge into a bear market, and regain their luster, once more. This short-term roller-coaster ride has new and tenured investors alike wondering what's next for Wall Street.

Although it's not an economic datapoint most investors would think of turning to for guidance, U.S. money supply may hold the answer as to what's next for stocks.

M2 money supply hasn't done this since the Great Depression
Though there are a few variations of money supply, most economists tend to focus on M1 and M2. The former takes into account cash and coins in circulation, as well as demand deposits in checking accounts and traveler's checks. In other words, money that's either in your hand or can be accessed very easily.

Meanwhile, M2 accounts for everything in M1 and adds savings accounts, money market funds, and certificates of deposit (CDs) below $100,000. It's money you have access to, but it takes a little extra effort to put this capital to work. It's M2 money supply that's raising eyebrows on Wall Street and making history.  READ MORE...

Some Don't Celebrate our 4th of July

For many people in this country, the Fourth of July represents some very ugly truths hidden within the fabric of America's legacy.

When I was growing up in the late 1970s, I didn’t learn the full truth about America’s history from my teachers. Back then, you only got bits and pieces of America’s past. It wasn’t until college that I became more informed. When the Declaration of Independence was signed, many Black people were still enslaved, and they continued to be used as property for the gain of plantation owners for many years afterward.

When you think of how those in power controlled and manipulated the mindsets of the enslaved for material gain, it’s sickening and disheartening. So, while the government said that all men were created equal, the reality was that the state of the nation was only being changed for certain people. For that reason, the Fourth of July has always been complicated for me.

The Fourth isn’t just about cookouts and fireworks
Learning about history, especially the history of America, has made a lasting impression on me and changed how I celebrate holidays. While I can’t pinpoint the exact time that I came to the realization that America’s Independence Day was not my own, I do recall reading Frederick Douglass’s speech that he gave on the fifth of July one year, and it definitely resonated with me.

I was able to immediately identify that the freedoms he was discussing back then did not necessarily extend to people who look like me today. After reading that speech, the disparities between the Black and White experience lingered in my mind, all throughout my adulthood as well. Even as a child, I remember July 4th as being a holiday that did not carry much weight. We all just enjoyed the day off, had wonderful barbecues, and watched the beautiful fireworks.   READ MORE...

The New America

I am constantly disappointed by this new breed of American, especially since less that 50% of Americans ARE NOT PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN....  and, it is this lack of pride that is going to transform America into something it was never intended to be:  A THIRD WORLD NATION...

If this new generation has its way, the USA will become completely socialistic and in so doing will destroy our education system, our economic system, and substantially weaken our military power in the global arena.

When the general public is no longer proud to be an American, they will no longer take care of their private property, their homes, their communities, or their states.

As property values drop, the wealthy people will move out of the area and businesses will relocate in order to protect their customer base from declining too rapidly.  There is also a possibility that people and businesses will start relocating overseas.

But, they will not go to MEXICO because of all the Mexican Drug Cartels operating there.

America will lose its MIDDLE CLASS and it will be mainly those that are wealthy and those that are poor...  everyone else will move away.

Some people think this change for America WILL BE GOOD as it takes money away from the wealthy and gives it to the poor...  kinda like ROBIN HOOD...  but, our society just does not work like that and many of the wealthy people don't want to give their money to the poor, especially since the poor are perceived as lazy and uneducated and will never amount to anything...

Why waste money on that?

Our 4th of July

Independence Day (colloquially the Fourth of July) is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the Declaration of Independence, which was ratified by the Second Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, establishing the United States of America.

The Founding Father delegates of the Second Continental Congress declared that the Thirteen Colonies were no longer subject (and subordinate) to the monarch of Britain, King George III, and were now united, free, and independent states. The Congress voted to approve independence by passing the Lee Resolution on July 2 and adopted the Declaration of Independence two days later, on July 4.

Independence Day is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concertsbaseball games, family reunions, political speeches, and ceremonies, in addition to various other public and private events celebrating the history, government, and traditions of the United States. Independence Day is the national day of the United States.
Background

During the American Revolution, the legal separation of the thirteen colonies from Great Britain in 1776 actually occurred on July 2, when the Second Continental Congress voted to approve a resolution of independence that had been proposed in June by Richard Henry Lee of Virginia declaring the United States independent from Great Britain's rule.  After voving for independence, Congress turned its attention to the Declaration of Independence, a statement explaining this decision, which had been prepared by a Committee of Five, with Thomas Jefferson as its principal author.

While Jefferson consulted extensively with the other four members of the Committee of Five, he largely wrote the Declaration of Independence in isolation over 17 days between June 11, 1776 and June 28, 1776 from the second floor he was renting in a three-story private home at 700 Market Street in Philadelphia, now known as the Declaration House, and within walking distance of Independence Hall.    SOURCE:  Wikipedia

Alien Fragments

In 2014, an interstellar object – thought to be from another star system – streaked across Earth’s skies as a meteor, then crashed into the Pacific Ocean near Papua New Guinea.

Harvard astronomer Avi Loeb is now leading a sea-going search, combing the ocean floor with what’s essentially a large magnet, hoping to pick up fragments of that object. He’s found bits of wire, tiny aluminum shards and volcanic ash.

And this week (June 21, 2023), Loeb reported that his team has found tiny metallic spherules whose composition suggests an unearthly origin.

Loeb posted the news in his onboard diary, which is published at Medium. He included a photo of a few of the odd objects, which are minuscule, only about 0.3 mm (about one-hundredth of an inch) in size. And he added a couple of more photos in his latest post on June 22.

Becky Ferreira also wrote about the discovery for Vice on the same day.

Loeb likens the search to “finding a needle in the ocean.”   READ MORE...

A Thought About the Fourth on the Third

It has been my experience that July begins the dog days of summer, although August has traditionally been the month associated with that concept in the past.  Our changing climate has pushed those days forward, I believe.

Tomorrow is the 4th of July, and many people will be celebrating our Independence not really knowing its true meaning or purpose, but simply have another justification to party and drink alcohol...  and, there is really nothing wrong with alcohol...  it's just that I don't drink it anymore.

For me the 4th of July has always meant fireworks in the evening after eating hotdogs, hamburgers, potato salad, some sort of beans, coleslaw, potato chips, and a slice of homemade apple pie.  Vanilla ice cream is sometimes put on top, but I will eat it either way.

My thoughts on July 4th do not revolve around Independence so much as they revolved around the US Constitution and in particular The Bill of Rights and of those rights is the Freedom of Speech.  I care more about freedom of Speech than I do about caring a firearm.

But, like anything else, the 4th of July is only one day, and when we wake up the following day, we will act as if there had never been a celebration of Independence.  It will be business as usual which means what we care about mainly is making money.

COVID-19 Links to China

US intelligence agencies are still unable to determine how the Covid-19 pandemic started, according to a declassified intel report released on Friday (23 June).

In the report, the Office of the US Director of National Intelligence states that all government agencies "continue to assess that both a natural and laboratory-associated origin remain plausible hypotheses to explain the first human infection."

The report acknowledged that researchers at China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology, where scientists conducted coronavirus research in the city where Covid first emerged, fell ill in the fall of 2019, shortly before the pandemic began.

The report acknowledged that several researchers from the Wuhan Institute of Virology fell mildly ill in Fall 2019.  READ MORE...

Back in the Saddle

For the last week, my wife and I have been moving from one house to another in an effort to downsize our living lifestyles.  My wife is 70 and I am 75 and we easily convinced ourselves that we were finally too old to move.

My wife has a lower back bulging disk and I have 5 lower back fused disks, so we were handicapped from the getgo.  We hired movers to transport the heavy stuff but we moved all the other stuff ourselves.

The house we found was in our same community so it was just on the next street over which helped but we still had to pack and move, bend over and lift.

We stained our deck and made a few other home improvements which many people told us not to do...  instead, wait for the buyers to raise what had to be done, then lower the sale price of the house. However, we were told to figure how much those renovations would cost, then increase the sale price to cover the potential dropping of the price.

We did not like that recommendation so we did the renovations ourselves in the heat and humidity.

Anyway, we are moved and our house goes no the market today.  We still have to put things away and organize in our new house but we can move a little slower with that task.  Consequently, I will again return to my blog and will work to give it a more robust appearance.

Your suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your patience.
