Just another Friday...

Just another weekend...

Just another day...

But... for some of us, it is a day to be remembered because this is the day that changed our lives....  that is to say, we woke up and saw the light...  the light of awareness, understanding, and yes...  enlightenment.  

Government does not control us.

We control us.

Government sets up rules and laws by which we live our lives, but Government cannot tell us when to work or how hard to work or what company to which we make an application.  Government cannot tell us who to marry, when to marry, or how many children to have.  Government cannot tell us what house to buy, which State to live in, or which community to reside.  Government cannot tell us what to believe or what not to believe.  

GOVERNMENT INFLUENCES...   but, it does not control...

SO...

while it may just be another FRIDAY...   and, another day before the weekend, and for that matter just another day...   it is a day where we as an individual understand OUR WORTH and our PURPOSE to live life as we want to live life...

Most governments LIE because they believe that the people cannot handle to truth of all that is going on in the world.  LIES are LIES not matter who tells them or for what purpose...  And...  as parents, we have lied to our children for the same REASON government has lied to us...   and, the same reason that our parents lied to us when we were young...  and, we know how that lie feels when discovered.

Today, is the day that we take control of our lives...  and, not count on the government TO TELL US WHAT TO DO AND WHEN TO DO IT.

FRIDAY...

When I was working this 4 letters meant a lot but now that I am retired, every day is every other day and each day is part of an on-going weekend and every weekend is part of one long vacation. 

• I sleep as long as I want to
  
• I eat whenever I want to
• I exercise at different times
• I do chores when I feel like it
• I write whatever comes into my mind
• I wear whatever I desire
• I take a nap if I have a mind to

You must have noticed that there are a lot of "I's" in that bulleted list...  and if you believe that this is what I really do then you are dumber than I look...  anyone who has half a mind has got to realize that retired life don't mean shit, if you are still married.

So, let's get this straight...  My Wife Calls All The Shots...   and, since kissing her ass for the rest of my life...

she will no doubt live longer than me then I will be
I get to do whatever when and if my wife says I can do whatever...  We have been together for 27 years and even though I retired 5 years ago, I only realized what I just wrote 3 years ago when she retired...

And if you don't stop laughing, Ima gonna slap you stupid...
