What We NEED

As mentioned before, I am not a PhD intellectual, a military or political expert, nor am I a successful CEO, or a multi-millionaire, or a billionaire...

I am a simple-minded, 76-year-old retired educator who happens to be a Vietnam Era Veteran and who is currently living off of Social Security with my spouse in East TN.

It does not take a brain surgeon to see, read, and hear that our country, the once all-powerful USA, is DIVIDED more now than it has ever been in its history except for maybe the time around our CIVIL WAR.

We are DIVIDED:

• politically
• judicially
• militarily
• ethnically
• gender wise
• economically
• religiously
• educationally
• geographically
• philosophically
• morally

And no doubt there are many other ways in which we are divided that I have simply overlooked.

WE ARE SO DIVIDED THAT WE CANNOT SEE ANY WAY TO COMPROMISE AND REACH AGREEMENTS ON OUR DIFFERENCES...

What we need is a LEADER, who does not care about politics, power and control, and remaining an elected official for the rest of his/her life.

We need a leader who has the internal strength to do what is right for this country so that she may become united again.

I doubt that we have this kind of leader and that is probably the sadist statement I have ever had to write.

The USA used to be the home of dozens of these kinds of leaders, but they have all died and our focus has become tied to our affluence and only our affluence and how much more affluent we can become.

Our division is a PERFECT EXAMPLE of the PERFECT BYPRODUCT or our AFFLUENCE...  and, our affluent leaders, role models, and wealthy elite cannot open their eyes to see it.

WHO WILL LEAD US?
