America Needs to be United Again

Trump will elect his cabinet and for the most part 80-90% of the people he wanted will get confirmed by the Senate.

Liberals are expecting Trump to fail, not wanting to realize or understand, that if Trump fails, it hurts the USA more...  I say more because Trump is a one term President and has nothing to prove.

  • The size of government will be reduced
  • Oil product will begin again big time
  • Illegal immigrants will be removes
  • Prices will come down

Anything else will simply be icing on the cake.

Trump's legal problems will go away and in 2029, I doubt there will be very many prosecutors that will want to prosecute him anymore.

In all likelihood, the Democrats will win the Presidency back and will undo everything that Trump did (just like Biden did before) and will try to turn the country back into the same place that it was before Trump.

How will any of that benefit the USA or its citizens?

This is how the USA will be until our country realizes that it needs to be united.

What could cause the USA to want to become united?

  • A leader
  • WWIII
  • The voters
  • Threat from China
  • Pressure from the world

Einstein Vindicated

Albert Einstein’s prediction about how gravity behaves has been tested on a cosmic scale. Albert Einstein’s prediction about how gravity behaves has been supported by an international team of researchers who studied how the force acts on cosmic scales.

Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) researchers found that the way galaxies cluster is consistent with our standard model of gravity and the predictions from Einstein’s theory of General Relativity.

A complex analysis of the first year of data from DESI provides one of the most stringent tests yet of General Relativity and how gravity behaves at cosmic scales.

Looking at galaxies and how they cluster throughout time reveals how cosmic structure grows, which lets DESI test theories of modified gravity – an alternative explanation for our universe’s accelerating expansion.

DESI is managed by the US Department of Energy’s (DOE) Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab). UK involvement in DESI includes the University of Portsmouth, Durham University, and UCL as full member institutions, together with individual researchers at the universities of Cambridge, Edinburgh, St Andrews, Sussex, and Warwick.    READ MORE...

Don't Know

I don't know what I don't know or do I?

On the first day of my business classes, I ask the students to write an essay, answering these two questions:

WHO ARE YOU?

WHAT DO YOU KNOW?

First of all, they could not understand why BUSINESS STUDENTS were writing papers like in an English class, and second, they were not really sure how to answer either question, and begged for more guidance.

Their concerns were exactly why I had assigned the exercise in the first place.  Business leaders need to know how to communicate both verbally and written...  AND, they need to know WHO THEY ARE through introspection.

Without these characteristics, they typically fail as a leader of people.

But, more importantly is this question:

DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW?

<OR>

DO YOU NOT KNOW WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW?

Habitable Planets out There

There Are More Planets Like Earth in Habitable Zones

Discovering several thousand planets beyond the solar system or exoplanets is a eureka moment for humans. In just twenty years of exploration, space-based and ground observations have turned up above 4,100 confirmed exoplanets in only some parts of the galaxy we searched until now.

If you add unconfirmed planetary candidates, this number jumps to cross 9,000. But the biggest payoff would be capturing evidence of a world, some light-years far away, hospitable to life. To find a planet like Earth, astronomers need to look for habitable zones around stars, and these habitable zones should not be too cold or too hot for liquid water to be present on the surface. But do they exist?    READ MORE...

Politics

I am too old to worry about the politics of the USA and the rest of the world...  This is no longer my generation; it is time for someone else to take control.

I have no regrets in how I lived my life, nor do I regret how the world treated me.  Life is what it is for me and nothing more.

The younger generation is always going to be perceived as making mistakes, that is simply the nature of old age...  but the USA always seems to come out from under everything that has been thrown in her way.

My concern of politics and my disagreements have always been unfounded, since I have never been appointed or elected to make decisions on behalf of this country.  It's always been someone else.

And that fact should have told me something, but it never did because I kept complaining year after year.  Clearly, no one ever listened to me.

An Anti-Universe Twin

Our universe has an anti-universe twin moving backwards in time, study finds

Seconds after the Big Bang, the Universe exhibited an astonishing simplicity. Observations reveal a spatially flat, radiation-dominated cosmos described by a Friedmann–Robertson–Walker (FRW) metric. This early state included small, Gaussian, and nearly scale-invariant scalar perturbations.

However, there is no evidence for primordial vector or tensor perturbations, nor for cosmic defects. These observations align with the prevailing inflationary model, which suggests that an era of rapid expansion preceded the Universe's observable state.

Despite its utility, inflation theory introduces complexities and arbitrary parameters, which many physicists view as unnecessary. A team led by Neil Turok and Latham Boyle challenges this conventional framework, offering an alternative grounded in the symmetry of the Universe itself.         READ MORE...
