Results Oriented

There are different levels of value for each employee at the different levels within each company.

These different levels might include:

  • entry level - labor (hourly)
  • post probationary
  • lead worker
  • supervisor
  • shift supervisor
  • entry level - management (salary)
  • lower management
  • middle management
  • upper management

What is interesting here is that the lower your level the more likelihood there is of you getting laid off for various reasons.

However, this is not necessarily true, if your company has been acquired by another company, then the higher you level the more likely there is that you will get laid off.

Under normal circumstances, your continued employment is contingent upon your value to the company.

Value can be measured:
  • by output
  • by revenue generated
  • by expenses reduced
  • by contribution to team
  • by level of results/goals achieved

For the most part, your experience and education are meaningless except to open the door for your original employment or your promotion.

Companies are and will always be RESULTS ORIENTED
