High Prices Here To Stay
I agree with President Joe Biden that the American people gave them (the Democrats) that mandate...
CONSEQUENTLY... we should prepare ourselves for:
- higher gasoline prices
- higher heating oil prices
- higher food prices
- higher clothing prices
We should prepare ourselves for this eventuality because:
- the oil companies are gouging the public
- the heating oil companies are gouging the public
- the restaurants and grocery stores are gouging the public
- the retail stores are gouging the public
- Truck drivers are gouging the public
It would appear that our INFLATION PROBLEMS are coming from those conservative businesses that don't care about the public and want to gouge them and earn more money...
UNLESS the people drop their prices and become good democratic Americans, would should STOP BUYING:
- gasoline
- heating oil
- food
- clothes
- anything delivered by truck drivers
It is time to put those damn conservsatives in their place and destroy their livelihoods... I mean this is America for Christ's sake... although, I am not sure how many Christians we have left in this country.

Just Another New Drug
Tirzepatide, a new diabetes drug administered weekly through injection, helped those with type 2 diabetes meet blood glucose goals 4 to 12 weeks earlier than those receiving conventional diabetic drugs.
The phase 3 SURPASS trials, which were published in 2021, proved that tirzepatide reduces blood sugar and promotes weight reduction better than other type 2 diabetes (T2D) drugs.
Now, a new study evaluating the time required to achieve blood glucose goals shows that tirzepatide meets blood sugar control and weight reduction goals quicker than existing diabetes drugs.
The latest analyses of the SURPASS-2 and SURPASS-3 trials, which were presented at 2022’s European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) Annual Meeting in Stockholm, Sweden, discovered that adults treated with various doses of injectable tirzepatide (5, 10, and 15 mg) reached blood glucose targets about four weeks sooner than those treated with injectable semaglutide (1 mg), and between four and 12 weeks sooner than those treated with once-daily insulin (degludec; iDeg), along with diet and exercise and oral glucose-lowering medications.

Amateur Chef (Cook)
I would not consider myself an amateur chef but I would consider myself a amateur cook who tosses a bunch of shit together and calls it a meal.
I have made spaghetti, lasagna, pies, stews, soups, pizza, chili, omelettes, quiches, different types of breads & biscuits, and caseroles all of which I ate, except for maybe 1-2 that I could not eat because it tasted so horrible.
I use a pressure cooker, a gas stove, an electric cooktop, and an air fryer most of the time... not sure what else there might be other than a gas grill.
I like to start my cooking with onions, bell peppers (preferrably green), garlic, celery, and mushrooms.
To this combination, I add zucchini, squash, beans, peas, limas, potatoes, rice, etc. whatever sound good or that might mix well.
My seasoning is usually black pepper, sea salt, parsley, sage, rosemary, Thyme, basil, oregano, and paprika... I cannot stand cilantro or avocados.
What started out as a necessity, has not really turned into a hobby because I don't just cook for fun, I cook because I am hungry... but, it is enjoyable.

No Party Has The Answer
It would appear... that neither political party... republican or democrat... has the answer to fix our economy... therefore... have their heads up their ASSES...
The Dems have caused:
- Inflation in all areas - gasoline, food, clothes, building suppliles, home supplies, restaurant supplies, etc.
- Increases in Illegal immigration
- Increases in Crime and Violence
- Increase in Illegal Drugs - fentanyl from China
- Racism - CRT in schools
- Increases in the National Debt - move towards socialism
The GOP (Republicans) have caused:
Americans to believe that they have NO FRIGGING IDEA of how to correct the problem... especially since Donald Trump seems to be the leader of the Republican party... Americans HATE that man... both parties
BIG PROBLEM - Donald Trump will not back off... and, he will not do that because of his EGO... he cares more about himself than he does of the republican party or the US of A.
Because of this SPLIT in the country... the Dems will not back off, nor will they change a damn thing even though Biden has the worst approval rating of any President in modern history.
Doing nothing is a move towards SOCIALISM... and what the liberals don't understand or don't want to believe is that the WEALTHY PEOPLE will NOT BE WILLING to pay HIGHER TAXES to pay for socialism... They will hide their money... There are many wealthy DEMOCRATS but that does not mean they are willing to pay for more.
One of things that make wealthy people wealthy is that they have learned to use other people's money first...
BLACKS who only represent 12% of the overall population in the US of A seem to be controlling the political environment because they keep playing the RACE CARD... Whites are afraid to stand up against them... Standing up does not mean you are racist... standing up means you want the RIGHT THING TO BE DONE... Racism does not do the right thing... I would suspect there are more racists among the blacks than there is among the whites.
Let's Talk Life Insurance
Health insurance, given the rising costs of healthcare... IS A MUST.
However, the need for life insurance... IS A CON.
If you believe you ARE GOING TO DIE as soon as the probation period is over, then buy life insurance.
If you don't believe you are going to die early, the DON'T BUY LIFE INSURANCE, instead take the money that you would being paying on your premiums and invest that money in a MUTUAL FUND... you will earn far more money when you eventually die than you would receive from your life insurance company...
This posting is going to be hated by life insurance companies... but, it is something that students learn in BUSINESS GRADUATE SCHOOL that is not taught in high school or in the first few years of college.
Life insurance companies, just like banks, take your money and invest it in MUTUAL FUNDS... why do you think they do that???
If you cannot answer that question, then buy life insurance and when you die, you will be able to know at the last minute before death that you wasted your money and did not take care of your family...
By then, it will be a tad too late... but hey, you won't care... and will be just like shingles.

Astronomers have detected an enormous extragalactic structure hiding in an uncharted region of space far beyond the Milky Way's center.
This phantom region, known as the zone of avoidance, is a blank spot on our map of the universe, comprising somewhere between 10% and 20% of the night sky.
The reason we can't see it — at least with standard visible light telescopes — is because the Milky Way's bulging center blocks our view of it; the center of our galaxy is so dense with stars, dust and other matter that light from the zone of avoidance gets scattered or absorbed before reaching Earth's telescopes.
However, researchers have had better luck uncovering the zone's secrets with telescopes that can detect infrared radiation — a type of energy that's invisible to human eyes, but powerful enough to shine through dense clouds of gas and dust.

My Faith
Interesting question...
My faith is based upon my beliefs.
My beliefs leave me thinking there is a creator... but, the creator in which I believe is based upon that creator being an extraterrestrial or what we might refer to as an alien.
Why do I believe this???
"My kingdom is not of this world..." said Jesus during his trial... and, these comments... "In my father's house are many rooms..." and, I see this statement as refering to many solar systems and many galaxies and possibly many dimensions that create a multiverse.
Now that our Federal Government has acknowledged the reality of UFOs since 1945/1946/1947... my impression regarding that admission is that there is much, much more than they are saying.
Also, evolutions in our DNA in some cases are so extraordinary that the only plausible explanation is that someone altered our DNA in order to expedite our evolutionary process.
Those two concepts leave me believing that there are other forms of life out there in the universe, especially in our own solar system and Milky Way Galaxy.
QUESTION: Why would God create a universe as vast as he did, with the expectations that human beings on earth would be the only life forms???
Logically it makes no sense...
THEREFORE, someone or something HAD TO HAVE CREATED US... so, there can be no other conclusion to draw that there is, in fact, a creator... it just may not be the one we expected.
Oldest Monestary
According to the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Sumela Monastery was founded around AD 386. That is in the early days of Christianity being legal in the Roman Empire and during the reign of the emperor Theodosius I (375 - 395). That would also make it among the oldest Christian monasteries in the world.
Gasoline in the USA
A little over 2 years ago, the US of A produced enough domestic petroleum crude oil so that they did not have to buy any oil from other countries and as a result our gasoline prices were right around $2/gallon and this varied depending upon where you lived and the taxes that were imposed by local and state governments.
For instance, gasoline is more expensive in Chattanooga, TN than it is 20 miles away in GA because of taxes. I will pay less for gasoline where I live than I would be paying in another city less than 20 miles north of me.
When President Biden took office, his first action was to cancel the Keystone Pipeline and shut down oil leases so that the US of A was no longer able to produce the crude oil they needed and began buying oil from other countries. As a result gasoline prices increased.
COVID worsened the issue. The war in Ukraine worsened the issue. Supply chain problems worsened the issue and government spending worsened the issue. When OPEC reduced oil production using the ECONOMICS EDUCATION they received in the US of A, that also contributed to gasoline price increases.
Gas prices came down because PEOPLE STOPPED DRIVING as much, including my wife and I, driving only when we had to. We also stopped mowing our lawn every week because of gasoline prices.
The Democrats want us to stop driving gasoline cars and switch to electric cars which cost more to buy even though they cost less to operate. Most American do not have the upfront money to buy a more expensive vehicle.
As far as my wife and I are concerned, our age is dictating that we only have about 10 more years where we will be able to drive.... buying a $60,000+ electric vehicle offers us a very poor return on our investment, especially living on a fixed income.
CONSEQUENTLY... regardless of what the Democrats want, and regardless of how much the price of gasoline increases, we will REFUSE to purchase an electric vehicle and take UBERS when we stop driving.
