Hate

billionaires barf out statements 

thought to be in everyday use,

in front of millions...  hoping

to change attitudes...

preconceived ideas...

and opinions...

how do billionaires see hate,

many of us wonder.

flying around in private jets

eating croissants in Paris

bagels in the Caribbean

or drinking expresso in Rome...

Hate is what we know...

what we learned from preachers,

manifested in the teachings

of those who came before.

Hate is not for sale or bargained with,

it is what we live with daily,

it's all we know to do with each other.
