Intricate Rock Carvings - 2,700 years old
A TEAM OF ARCHAEOLOGISTS FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA HAVE UNCOVERED INTRICATE ROCK CARVINGS IN THE ANCIENT CITY OF NINEVEH.
Nineveh was an ancient Assyrian city of Upper Mesopotamia, located on the outskirts of Mosul in modern-day northern Iraq. It was constructed on the eastern bank of the Tigris River and was the capital and largest city of the Neo-Assyrian Empire, as well as the largest city in the world for several decades.
Today, Nineveh’s location is marked by two large mounds, Tell Kuyunjiq and Tell Nabī Yūnus “Prophet Jonah”, which are surrounded by a massive stone and mudbrick wall dating from about 700 BC.
In 2010, a report titled Saving Our Vanishing Heritage, Global Heritage Fund named Nineveh as being “on the verge” of irreparable destruction and loss, citing insufficient management by the authorities, development pressures and looting as primary causes. READ MORE...

Divided Government For The Next Two YEARS
It was just announced last night that the GOP got 218 House seats, so now the Republicans control the House.
The Dems have 50/51(?) Senate seats so regardless of the last seat in GA, the Dems control the Senate.
This alone, will cause very little to get done. Needless to say, a majority of Republicans are pissed off at Dems and a majority of Dems are pissed off at the GOP... so do you really think they will reach across party lines and dance together???
President Biden is the worst President we have had in decades and yet, the country did not like the message that the Republicans had so they tried to keep the status quo...
THAT DID NOT WORK VERY WELL.
The first order of business for the House is not to undo what Biden has done, because that will be stopped in the Senate. So, the next best thing to do is DICK AROUND WITH THE DEMS...
They will do this by INVESTIGATING:
- Hunter Biden's business dealings
- A corrupt FBI
- The origins of COVID
- They will investigate China
- A corrupt CIA
- A corrupt Hillary Clinton
- increased gasoline prices
- increased food prices
- increased clothes prices
- increased prices in general
- increased drugs coming into US
- increased fentanyl coming into US
- Possible terrorists entering US
- defunding the police
- killing police officers
- police officers retiring early
- racism in the workplace
- teachers wanting to control children not parents
- wealthy versus poor
- first amendment censorship
- abortion uncertainty as a national law
- to stop inflation
- to pay for social programs
Demand/Supply Side Economics
There are two economic forces... the seller and the buyer.
The seller is referred to as the supplier of goods and services and they buyer is referred to as those individuals who demand goods or services. Thus we have supply and demand. (See chart below)
Where these two lines intersect is called the equilibrium because it is the ideal point at which quantity is aligned with price. If you price is higher then you will sell less and if your price is lower you will sell more but you may not cover the cost you laid out for supplies and labor.
One economic theory says is you stimulate the demand side, that the economy will grow... beecause you have given the buyer more money to spend.
In order for this to happen, you need to give the buyer more money to spend with pay raises or lower taxes.
However, the the supplier does not meet the increased demand, there will be a shortage and the price will increase.
Another economic theory says if you stimulate the supply side, more goods and services are available, which means the price will go down, the the buyer will buy.
However, if the buyer does not have the desire to purchase that item, then the excess inventory will not be sold, and the supplier loses money.
Which side do you stimulate?
Which side is the correct side to stimulate?
The COVID stimulus monies stimulated the demand side... BUT, due to COVID many people were not working, so the supplies reduced... Consequently, fewer items meant higher prices, and we encountered inflation.
As mentioned before, the only way to stop inflation, is to take money out of the economy.

My Political Transformation
In the 1960s, I was a Kennedy Democrat, because JFK and his party cared more about the working man and making sure that society was on the right path, then the Republicans did.
As the years pass, I came to realize that the Democrats really did not care about the working man because NOTHING CHANGED...
As far as my simple mind is concerned, if nothing changes after 30-40 years, then the Democrats were not really serious about doing what they said they were going to do.
In the early 1980s I earned my MBA from the Babcock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest University, and as a result of my business education, I realize that a conservative approach was the best all around approach to take... if it worked for business then it should work for government.
A conservative approach to government meant the following:
- A small federal government
- A strong defensive military
- Less individual taxes
- Less corporate taxes
- Less National Debt
- Strong Boarder
- Rule of Law
- Judicial Equality
- The Democratic Party went against Trump
- The Congress went against Trump
- Mainstream Media went against Trump
- High Tech Companies went against Trump
- Some Republicans went against Trump
- high gas prices
- high heating oil prices
- high food prices
- high clothing prices
- high restaurant prices
- Increase in illegal immigration
- Increase in illegal drugs
- Increase in diseases
- Increase in terrorists in US
- Defund police
- Police Retiring
- Police being ambushed
Robots Will Change the USA
In 2030, robots could be exploring alien worlds and performing surgeries from halfway around the globe. Robotics is one of the fastest evolving fields of technology, and it’s shaping the future of travel, work and exploration.
Few technologies in recent history have been as highly anticipated as autonomous vehicles. Ambitious scientists and engineers have pursued self-driving car technology for centuries.
Self-driving cars get smarter every year, yet they remain rare on the roads in the 2020s. What makes robotic transportation a challenge is AI computing and human randomness.
Throughout the 2020s, this unique robotics niche may finally get “over the hump” and go mainstream. Tesla has blazed a trail for rudimentary autonomous vehicle tech with its autopilot mode.
In the 2030s, robot-powered vehicles may be on the road in major cities worldwide. These cars will make travel more accessible, reduce emissions and improve policing behaviors. READ MORE...

HOW DO GOVERNMENTS FIGHT INFLATION?
- They increase prices
- They delay raises
- They layoff employees
- They delay investments in the future
- They delay expansion project
- They delay hiring of new employees
- They decrease dividends to investors
- Their stock prices drop
- They become vulnerable to take-overs or mergers
- They shut down in house training programs
- They reduce contributions to charities
- They destroy economic impact in communties
- An employee pays for daycare
- The daycare owner buys supplies
- The supply company owner pays the market
- The market owner pays the farmer
- The farmer buys seeds and fertilizer
- The fertilzer company pays taxes
- The city tax dept hires employees
- The employees buy cars
- The car dealer take their spouse out to dinner
High Prices Here To Stay
I agree with President Joe Biden that the American people gave them (the Democrats) that mandate...
CONSEQUENTLY... we should prepare ourselves for:
- higher gasoline prices
- higher heating oil prices
- higher food prices
- higher clothing prices
- the oil companies are gouging the public
- the heating oil companies are gouging the public
- the restaurants and grocery stores are gouging the public
- the retail stores are gouging the public
- Truck drivers are gouging the public
- gasoline
- heating oil
- food
- clothes
- anything delivered by truck drivers
